I bought a bunch and my favorite were the Bravado Silk Seamless. They had great support and also expanded if I got engorged (instead of digging in).
Good luck!
I've been having issues with picking a good nursing bra. I had nursing bras that had a wire and that was very uncomfortable. I was just wondering if someone can give me some advice or suggestions. Thank you in advance!

Wal mart has some... they are $15 for bras or tanks... I like the ones I got.
I would strongly recommend Bravado Designs. They make an absolutely amazing nursing bra that is really really comfortable. They have several designs in case you are looking for one with or without underwire. They are a bit more expensive than Walmart but I bought 4 when I had my daughter and they are still in excellent condition 3 years later after having my son. www.bravadodesigns.com
I'd also recommend Target nursing tanks...I'm still nursing my 11 month old and I wear them everyday. So much more comfortable and they give you belly coverage while nursing (great in public!!).
I would check out expressiva.com. They have good info about how to pick a bra that will fit your shape. They carry many brands of nursing bras.
Victoria's Secret makes the best nursing bras. You can get them online. I threw out all my others and kept only the VS ones bc they were so much better.
I second the Target nursing tanks. I've got 5 and live in them 24/7. Very comfy and they give you more coverage when you're nursing. Shop on-line for a much better color selection. Avoid underwires as they can cause clogged ducts.
Walmart does have some nice cheap ones that are very comfy. They are wirefree and all cotton. Now.....they aren't the best support and they do kinda stretch out fast but they do the job...oh and they have the nice clips that you can easily do with one hand.
My fav nursing bra of all was a Bravado body silk (not the original ones, those are terrible and i don't understand why they charge so much)

Sooo comfy, more supportive and comes with molded inserts if you want to go that route for shaping.
I am not sure why people even sell underwire nursing bras. They can lead to plugged ducts and mastitis. I know Motherhood sells a lot of them and it is just bad info to give nursing mothers that that is ok.
Target has great nursing tank tops. They are my fave because they cover up your belly too.
The lace Target nursing bras have been very good to me.
Get yourself some nice NORMAL bras that are thick or heavily padded and then purchase some Phillips Avent Breast Shells to collect leaking breastmilk. I dont know about you but I have very large breasts with a large cup size and small bust measurement (36-F) so most of the nursing bras I tried on at Motherhood Maternity were very uncomfortable. The underwire support should normally sit and inch or so in front where your armpit starts but for me, the underwire goes all the way back to the middle of my armpit. (Very uncomfortable)
So.. I went to Ross and bought some 36 DD bras that were made too large (as most bras from Ross are ones that are made incorrectly so make sure you TRY THEM ON) and I wear my breast shells at all times. You cannot tell I am wearing them, I never have a wet shirt from leaking, I don't have to use those icky disposable breast covers, and the bras were A LOT cheaper and A LOT more comfortable.
That's what I am doing and my daughter is 2 weeks old. I hope this helps.
Good Luck,

I love Japanese Weekend. My favorite was a crossover style with no clips, the softest material I've ever felt! I still wear it, but it doesn't provide a ton of support.
I also lived in nursing tank tops, that way you can keep your mama tummy covered while pulling up an overshirt and just letting the breast out, nothing else that no one should see! ;)
I hated nursing bras, so I started wearing sports bras and pulling them down when I needed to nurse. My favorites are the ones that are more nylon-based than cotton as they have more give and were easier to maneuver. I did this for a year with one child and 3 months with another.
I pumped 4-6 times/day using them and had no problems.
Worth a try. Champion and UnderArmour are my favorites and have held up for years after (probably wearing one today).
