We have a Wii game with some scratches and a lot of dvd's with scratches. I am wondering if anyone knows how to repair these and/or a place that does it? Thanks ladies!

I have heard of the disc doctor or something like that. It was on Fox 4's deal or dud test and it even fixed really scratched up things. It is about $30, I looked into buying it and probably will soon. Def worth the price considering it can fix cds for a long time.

I have tried this a couple of times and it worked. Rub a very small amount of hand lotion on the cd. Like you are trying to rub it in. Then gently buff of the excess with a fuzz free cloth.

This may sound gross and I don't know if gloves are involved, probably not because it is boys, but they put the scratched video game or CD in the toiet and flush. Supposedly fixes them unless they are beyond repair.

A.,
Our Wii game was scratched pretty bad and we took it to Family video on Matlock. It cost us 2.00 and works just fine. Other then paying for them you can go to game stop, frys or even walmart and buy a machine to do it. Dont just use the liquid because it doesnt work. We spent lots of money on different ones and none of them worked. Best bet go to Family Video and pay 2.00

Try taking your cd or dvd and washing it with regular dishwashing soap. Use your fingers to lightly wash the grime away and whatever else is there. Rinse it really good with water and pat dry with a soft cotton cloth. My dad said he found that somewhere on Netflix. It has helped a lot of our dvd's. If they are beyond that I will be interested to hear what you find! Good luck!

Unless they're badly scratched, I've had good luck with using toothpaste. Just gently rub a small amount (a little less than you would use to brush your teeth) in a circular motion around the disc for about a minute, then rinse well and dry with a soft lint-free cloth.

I've also heard of using liquid silver polish in the same manner; I haven't tried this, though.

Good luck!
