Anyone Have Experience with Town & Country Food Service (?

We're looking into signing up with Town & Country foods for home delivery of natural meats, organic frozen veggies etc. We got the spiel today from a rep and I was pleasantly suprised. Their prices seem very reasonable for what you get, but I don't like the idea of the freezer being somewhat "mandatory". Also seems like sooooo much food per month for 2 adults and 2 small kids. I'd love to hear about anyone that is using them or considered it and did not sign up.

What can I do next?

We buy from this company and we love the meat and veggies. We bought the freezer from them so that the food would have a warranty on it. It was a lot of food at first when they brought it out and it lasted us a year. It is more expensive than the meat at the grocery store but it is organic so if you compare it to organic prices it is a good deal. Hope this helps

They came and gave us the whole pitch and we decided to think about it over night. We then calculated what we would be paying per pound for the different cuts of meat and it was way more than what I am paying in the grocery store. We opted not to, so I cannot say how their service is. You may have to calculate all of the cost out and see if it saves you money.

Yes, we almost did it, but then when we thought about the cost of the freezer, it wasn't such a good deal. I think by the time you pay for their freezer, it is one expensive freezer! You could probably buy 3-4 for the same cost. We decided against it...but we were impressed with the food. Although I do have to say that the salesman was SO friendly when he came to our house, but was extremely rude when my husband called to tell him we had decided not to sign up. He was like a different person! That was our experience anyway :)
