How about getting pregnant on the pill with a condom... and then getting pregnant on the patch?? Yep...
using a condom? Not "we forgot to put one on" just you guy used them as prevention and for some eason it didn't work?
hmmmm interesting! I had my IUD taken out( I hated it!) and decided to use condoms because I don't do hormones. I have not gotten my period this month, but have premenstrual symptoms (cramps and sore breasts). I don't really think I'm pregnant as I am not really regular and have been under alot of stress lately (we moved across the country). If I don't get it this week, I will test. I was just wondering!
Ok, so I went to the store last night and picked up a test. Just a cheapie just well...just because. I actually got a thin plus line on both tests. Not right away, but within the 10 minute time frame. It was not a thick line, so I'm thinking that it's not real. Now I have to get a "real test" because I will be thinking about it every minute. Could this really be happening, lol!!!

Yes, 15-24 out of every 100 people per year who use them get pregnant. That's why I'm on the pill.
Here is a comparison of effectiveness of birth control options:
http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-topics/birth-cont...
It happened to us when we conceived #4, our first girl. She was such a blessing, and I cringed when I realized we almost prevented her. That was when we stopped using birth control and switched to Natural Family Planning.
/condoms are only 75% effective for birth control
Yep, my cousin. She got pregnant with the first child while on the pill, the second child while using condoms (correctly) and her third child with the birth control implanted in her arm. So yes, it happens.
Twice. Both ended in miscarriages :( im a very fertile girl!
a friend of mine did
No birth control is 100% foolproof. Friend was on the pill and use a condom and her DD is 2 years old...
Yep. And used correctly. And it didn't break. Must have been a tiny hole.
Condoms
Spemacide
AND THE PILL
I call him kiddo, and he's 9.
NOT an accident. He's my miracle baby!
Kinda ironically, when we were first talking about kids (how many, when, all that jazz) we'd decided that in about 10 years (done with school, marry, 4-5 years to just "be married" and be working) we'd start a family.
That's next year.
LOL... I can't even imagine having any more kids at this point!
Not me, but a friend claims their condom failed with their first. Most times it's really not used correctly rather than a defect in the condom. Due to human error you're really supposed to use a back-up method with condoms.
Angle number three!
There was spillage or something. We never really did figure it out, but he swears it was whole when he pulled out....

Yup...his name is Brandon :)
Pregnant with number 3 with husband using a condom. Never would have planned him (he's 21 mos now), but don't know how we could ever lived life without him! Since then I have added spermicide (Gynol II over the counter) whenever using condoms and no more surprise babies--yet. Usually we use a diaphragm and no failures yet on that one in 10 yrs--but know there could be a first for us. There isn't any 100% method except abstinence--I've had patients that had failure from vasectomy, tubal ligation and even both. Midwife Mom
We are about 99% sure this is how we had our 3rd child. I know they can rip, so it is very possible it just ripped!
Me!!! Now my lil guy is 23 months :D
Yes, two people I know personally. One was a condom AND a diaphragm.
My aunt did ~ her hubby's got a tear. Her 1st two were planned & are 22 & 18, her 3rd son is 12.
Well, nothing but abstinence is 100% effective.
So...yah, it happens.
nope. We got pregnant only once, when we were too 'busy' to put one on (plus husband was too drunk to want to put one on). Since then we've been much better about it, plus I know my cycle a bit better. No #2 in 3.5 years of hormone-free, natural 'check-my-cycle-and-use-condoms-when-need-be' method.
Ross & Rachel from "Friends" did :)
