I've been taking 2 flinstones each day since my first pregnancy in 2005. Found that the majority of my "morning sickness" was actually side effects of the prenatal vitamins. My OB suggested the flinstone chewables, I thought he was joking, but voila! no more nausea! Took them until shortly before son's 1st birthday when I stopped breastfeeding, started back 5 weeks later when I found out I was pregnant again :-)
My new OB (we had moved) gave me samples of several different prenates. Long story short, flinstones rule!

P.S. - also VERY easy to get my now 3 yr old to take his vitamin every morning, since Mama is taking it, too!
Good luck!

I was told to take my vitamins at night and honestly took two Flintstones because they were easy on the system and my OB said they were fine. I also made sure I got enough folic acid.

I could not take anything w/ DHA. They made me want to puke. The Prenate Elite is my vitamin of choice. Ask your OB for a bunch of samples to try.

I swore by these:

I took the Prenate DHA.

These, too, were rather large purple gel pills that went down easily. I took mine at night.

I've also taken Flintstones for both of my pregnancy. I took 2 per day. My ob was the one to suggest this since reg prenatal vit made my nausea even worse. I've actually been taking Flintstones since my first pregnancy (in 2007) because I breastfeed.

You could try asking for a chewable prenatal vitamin -- they do make them. Could be that the digestion for a non-chewable is part of the issue--? Also, do take the vitamin with some food or milk to buffer it. I took chewables through my pregnancy because I don't swallow pills well and the non-chewables were all "horse pills" that were huge. Not sure about the Flintstones, it seems you'd need to take a lot of those to get an adult dose appropriate for pregnancy....

I actually have some that I ordered accidentally. They're yours if you'd like them, just pay shipping. Message me if you'd like to try them.

I also took Flintstones during my pregnancy. The only drawback was that toward the end, they started to give me really bad indigestion.

Darn, can't remember the name. But it was apurple gel coated vitamin.

Also, I took mine at night with a lighte snack, so I went to sleep right away and didn't really feel as bothered by the nausea.
