J.E.
My kids have been with their dad for the last 6 1/2 weeks, but several times before they left my daughter would come up behind me in the kitchen or when getting ready in the bathroom and rest her chin on my shoulder (she's 14 and taller than I am) and would say "I love you mom." I would respond with I love you too. She would say, "but I love you more." She always had the sweetest determined tone in her voice. I would tell her that it's not possible to love me more than I do her. In a very soft voice, she would respond, "but I do."
