Have you tried a beauty school...you can ask for an experienced person. I sell Mary Kay part-time & it has helped tremendously with extra income...you can do it around your family life & school. I wish you the best!
I see Brianna Borlese out in KCK. Her number is ###-###-####. I live in midtown so it's a little drive for me, but it's totally worth it. She works out of her home and has a great setup. Your kids can play with her kids or watch tv in a nice little lounge area right next to the "salon." She is VERY reasonably priced. I think she only charges $15 for a haircut - and she'll do kids too, of course, for even less. Try her, she's very nice and does a great job!
I don't cut hair but I know what you mean about spending so much on hair. I go to a lady named Cindy who works at Salon Allure. She charges me 45-55 for a haircut AND color. She's awesome. Hope that helps.
