Any Recommendation for a Good Pediatrician Who Really Listens to Your Concerns?

I am having a hard time in trying to find a good pediatrician for my 3.5 year son. He has had cronic breathing problems since birth and recently had a seizure and had a surgery to have his tonsils and adenoids removed. I really need a pediatrician who will spend the time to listen to my concerns and interested in all the medical history. I would like someone who also does not frown at me if I decided to wait to vaccinate my son. Thank you!

Thank you Mamas for sharing your thoughts! I will try contacting a couple of the doctors you have recommended and will report back. Have a great day!

Dr. Paul Thomas at Integrative Pediatrics on Barnes Rd. is amazing. He's very supportive of individualized immunization schedules and brings an obvious love of children to his practice. He's also close to you if you live in Beaverton.

Monique Pritchard at Sellwood Medical Clinic is a phenomenal pediatrician who is very supportive of my alternative viewpoint on vaccines and many other western medicine philosophies. She is also perhaps the most caring physician I have ever encountered and takes the time to have a conversation with my child rather than just talking with me. I have a child with complex medical issues, and she is extremely proactive in getting her the care that she needs from specialists as well as giving reassurances to my daughter. I really respect and admire her.

The Pediatric Clinic at Doernbecher Children's Hospital is very good. They have always been accommodating to my vaccinating choices, and they will give a wealth of information to you. I definitely understand having a delayed schedule, but just make sure that you aren't delaying past the time when the vaccine would be most beneficial during childhood. But they won't frown at you:) Good luck!
