I'm still fairly new to the area, and this is also the first time I'd have to start looking into ballet lessons for my 3 yr. old daughter, She loves to dance and my husband & I thought it would be a neat gift for her upcoming 3rd birthday, to get her some lessons (probably this fall). Brenda said her friends use the one in the Audubon shopping center by Genuardi's. That is Dansarts Studios and I studied with Miss Gale for 6-7 years. She is very good and will make dance very enjoyable for your little "Ballerina".
I send my daughter to Cappuccio Dance in Limerick/Royersford area. It's about $40/month for her ballet class (they also started teaching tap at the end of her class too). They are worth checking out if its not too far from you. www.cappucciodance.com
There is also a studio in Oaks called Steppin' Out. They also had a gymnastic section.
They are right past Gold's gym - next to Triple Crown
We were at The Conservatory of Music and Dance - on Ridge Pike not far from Trooper Road - for about 8 years. They have a good development program and a more formal recital system. Not sure what they do these days for the younger classes, but they offer many.
My neighbors go to the studio in the Audubon shopping center where Genuardis and Skullkill Vally Sports is located - corner of Egypt and Park - they all like it and have been there for many years. Sorry I can't recall the name.
