I am 35 and a first time stay at home mom with three children. There ages are 15, 13 and 5. We moved to Alachua approx. 2 years ago and I don't know anyone other than the wives of my husbands co-workers. Most of them work. I am going crazy myself staying home. I've gained weight, tired of cleaning the same rooms everyday and are craving social interaction. I've even resorted to creating a myspace page to keep in contact with my friends from Jacksonville (my home town). I'm open for meeting new people in the area.

I am 28 and a first time mom. I have a 9month old girl. My husband and I recently moved to the area and I am looking to meet other parents. I am new to the full time mommy thing and am going a little stir crazy in the house. Can't wait to hear back.

Hey, Im not a mom but a stay at home dad. We (my wife and I) also have a three month old baby girl. We moved to the area just over a year ago and have yet to meet many people. I am a first grade teacher and this stay at home thing is a little different than the classroom. But I love it and am enjoying every minute. The hardest thing is trying to get things around the house done before she wakes up. Well, hope all is well.
