Any Creative Uses for Baby Bottles?

I don't plan on having any more children and I have 2 bags of plastic bottles of various sizes and some glass bottles as well. Just wondering if anyone has found a re-purpose for them or should I just put them all in the recycling bin?

Thanks!

What can I do next?

Maybe call your local women's shelter and ask if they take bottle donations?

:)

There are many places that could probably use them (shelters, organizations that help mamas, etc.). If anything, put an ad on craigslist for free bottles. There is a mama who could use them somewhere. :)

I'd either donate them like Theresa suggested, or see if a preK can use them; little kids LOVE playing 'mommy' with baby dolls :) I kept a few for my kiddos to play with, gave some to friends with little girls, etc.

I kept the 4oz glass baby bottles and use them to hold pennies, safety pins, paperclips, etc... I took the nipples off and they make really neat little catch-alls!

Recycle the glass bottles. Then see if any moms you know would like second-hand baby bottles. Save a few bottles for your kids to keep their little treasures in, like marbles, loose change etc.

If they are plastic they could make for fun bath toys. If they are glass you could use them as storage containers for the fridge for things like canned sauces and such. Just take a piece of plastic wrap and cover the lid so that you dont have to store laftovers in the can. Or recycle the glass

local day care might use them, family shelter could probably put them to good use. Our church has used bottles for fundraisers (everyone who is willing takes a bottle home, and collects loose change for a children's charity and returns the full bottles.

I use them to hold kid paintbrushes or water when painting. They're also good to organize pencils, markers, etc. My daughter who is 4 has one with coins in her room.
