Any animal shelter/vet. Give them the ones that aren't in as nice condition. The dogs love them. Also any used blankets
I saw many of you mentioned donating stuffed animals. We have SO MANY that are in excellent used condition and I'd love to give some away. Any suggetions on who will take a stuffed animal donation?

Wash/dry them first...The local fire depts. Red Cross
Around here, our fire department loves stuffed animals that are in very good condition. They give them to children whose families are in an emergency situation and who need something to hug. You might call your fire department - and if they don't do it, ask the people who does.
If they truly are in good shape, police depts, hospitals, childrens cancer center and of course Salvation Army.
I like the fire department and animal shelter ideas. Whatever you decide, make sure you call first. I tried to donate a lot of them one year to an organization that was collecting toys for Christmas, and they wouldn't take them because I had cut that tags off, and they would only take toys that I could prove were new. Seemed crazy to me, since these were in perfect shape, but they sent them home with me.
I ended up giving mine to a retirement home. They gave them out as prizes for bingo night, and the older people liked them because they could then have them as toys for their grandkids to play with when they visited.
