This is the age when babies suddenly start pooping less. It happened with both of my daughters around that age. The vaccinations are probably a coincidence in timing. At around 2-3 months, babies' bodies become way more efficient at using food, and they simply stop pooping as much. I recall that it went from a several times per day event, to only going twice per week! If you're concerned, it's certainly worth a call to the doctor just to be sure, but just know that what you're experiencing is probably completely normal.

Breastfed babies can go many days without pooping because they use it all up, there is little waste. If you are using formula, this does not apply. As long as she is wetting enough diapers, I wouldn't worry too much. Is it caused by the vaccines? I doubt it, but the fever is affecting her fluid levels so just make sure she's getting enough breast milk or formula. I always let the fever run it's course for 24 hours before I gave any medicine to bring it down, unless the child can't sleep or is really in pain.

If you're nursing then your baby can go up to 11 or 12 days without pooping and not be constipated. Formula fed babies can go a couple of days too. Your baby is fine. The vaccination has nothing to do with it. She's probably cranky from a little soreness from the site of the vaccination. The low grade fever will dissipate on its own.

She's likely going to be cranky for a few days. Some of the vaccines are weakened (but live) versions of the true virus, so expect that she might show some mild symptoms. Unless she ends up being allergic to one of the vaccines, constipation seems unlikely. Just give her some time, and I'm sure things will sort themselves out. :)

It's normal for small children not to go every day. My son when he was an infant would go days without going. His doctor assured me that it was normal. Dont worry just yet :)

Gas drops are great to use too.

I would not worry at all about the whole pooping thing. My ped has told me over and over - its not how often that matters, its the consistancy of it that matters. If she has hard stools, she is constipated. Not going for a few days does not mean she is constipated unless when she finally goes the stool is hard. My baby used to only go once a week!! Freaked me out but everyone assured me over and over it was fine. Once we started solids he started going more often.
If it really bothers you, give her a little apple/prune baby juice. Just an ounce or two. That will help get things going. Or you can always try "taking her temp" rectally and that often makes them go too.
The crankiness is totally normal for a few days after getting the shots - probably unrelated to the pooping issue.

she will be cranky, my daughter was always cranky for up to a week after shots. the constipation could be just that, babies get constapated. i would give it until monday, as long as she is PASSING gas i wouldnt worry,if your using formula warm it up some and also give her some warm sugar water if she is using a bottle it will help losen things up

My breastfed baby only poops a few times a week and she isn't constipated. It's normal for this age in nursing babies. Your pedi can prescribe infant tylenol to help with the low grade fever and general soreness from the vaccine.
