Did you take them one right after the other or wait to take the second a day later?
My sister took one- positive. Then she went to the doctor and took one in the afternoon and it came back negative but they told her to come back in the morning, and that one was positive.
If it's early still then you really need to take it in the morning to test the "morning pee"- which will have the highest concentration of Hcg.

Sometimes, you can get a false positive on a test that uses blue for the color of the line... it's called an evaporation line and can look like you are pregnant if you're looking hard for that line (like many of us are!). I had this same thing happen to me when I wasn't pregnant. I'd advise you to only use the tests that use pink for the results line, because you don't have the same problem with the pink that you have with the blue. Wait a week (I know it's hard!) and try again. Good luck!

I took a store brand test before and it came out negative, then I bought a First Response and it was clearly positive. I was only 3 1/2 weeks at the time. The store brand tests aren't very good if it is really early.

I had the same thing happen to me, and I was pregnant.

Go ahead and spend the morning and buy a "good" pregnancy or go to the Doc. and have a blood test. The blood test is a 100% way of knowing.

what at least a week after your period is supposed to start....that would be the most accurate. and then go see you doc if you still get negative. more than likely the second test is the real one. there aren't too many false positives.

Dollar tree by you?!? Use those tests ,they cost a dollar and are very, very accurate! It's the same test they use at planned parenthood. Seriously. Go by 15 or whatever and test your early morning pee. Test you your hearts content. You can google the test and it shows you the level it is accurate to test and you might be surprise on some of the tests LOL

I would find a different brand and retest. That has happened to me more than once.
