I understand some of what you are going through. It's tuff, especially when you haven't been here too long. I am in school myself at UCF. I have a 2 year old boy and 4 year old girl. We were all sick last week too, I guess somethings going around. I still have a sore throat but everything else is good.
My husband and I were both in the military when we met. We also both had military parents. We got out of the military soon after getting married. We packed everything up from Washington and moved here. I do like it here but it took a while to make friends. The first couple years we were here my husband worked at a job that rotated him out of state 14 days, then home for four, then back again. That was ruff. Back then we didn't even have our stuff yet because it was in military storage. So I would be stuck in an empty apartment with noone to talk to most of the time. Now he works in customer support with the same company but stays home. Thank goodness. We made a lot of friends in our church, and a couple in school. So I actually have company now and then.
I think the Pines may be close to the apartment I use to live in. Anyway I take the kids out to the park sometimes. Maybe we could meet up sometime so the kids can play together, and you can have someone to talk to.
