Hi Moms...
In the past few weeks I've noticed my baby having some sort of tremor..like he is shivering or so...Only happens at feeding time ( bottle feed) and is for few seconds...and it stops. It doesn't bother him at all...I made sure he was warm enough and the milk also not cold...
I'm very concerned...
I didn't mention to his pediatrician yet cause few weeks ago he told me that some baby tremors ( like the mouth ) is due to baby growth and I should not worry about it.
I would like to ask if any of you had the same experience and if it turned out to be OK or should I be concerned?
As a first time mom...everything is new...I try to research as much as I can...but sharing it with you all seems to be more effective.

Please give me some light!

What can I do next?

I know this may sound too simple but when my son was a baby he would do that every time he went pee in his diaper. The warm milk and soothing comfort might just make him relax and go wee. Check his diaper right away or maybe take the diaper off when you feed him and wrap him in a blanket to see if he is just relieving himself with a dramatic little shiver!

Totally normal. Enjoy it because it is soo cute, and it goes away soon. Its just their nervous system developing (and I think a way they pause between sips or they are peeing :)).

My now 4 year old did the same thing. It passed after a short while and he is a normal little boy. I was told not to worry about it if is is like a shivver but if it lasts longer to take hime in.

My son did the same thing.. just during feeding as he fell asleep for nap or bedtime. It's scary, but is just part of normal development and doesn't mean anything according to my doctor. He only did it about 5 times and eventually outgrew it by about 6 mos old. He is now 2 yrs old and is fine. The tremor only lasts a couple of seconds, and would go away if you woke him (but I never did). I think it 's sort of like that falling feeling when we totally relax before falling asleep.

Pee shivers? It took us a while to figure out that right after a shiver our little guy's diaper was wet... especially if it's when he was feeding. Put your hand over his diaper after he shivers and see if that's the explanation.
