Stay away from American Quality Temperature. I actually was going to report them to the BBB because of bait and switch business practices. You can often find a coupon in the Super Saver packet in the mail for like $99 for whole house duct cleaning. This is kinda a long story, but I thin it's important to tell...
When they came, I gave him the coupon and then they just started working. When they were done with the ducts and about to finish up with the furnace, he brought me the paperwork to sign and they wanted over $400! I swear all they did was use a vacuum hose and drill a couple hole in my ducts. They were there for about 45 min. I refused to pay it saying that the coupon said it was $99, and he said "oh, well you have another duct main here...and this extra thing there..." I have a 1000 sq foot house! Wouldn't most houses have what I have. He agreed. I called my husband and he yelled at the guy so he said he'd drop the price a little. My husband had me kick them out of our house (without the furnace being done) and pay him the lowest agreed upon amount. Then they wanted a tip before they left(yes, they actually asked for it!) I gave them like $20 in cash on top of it all b/c being a woman home alone with two men staring at her asking for money like they did, I was a little frightened and figured just give it to them so they'd leave. Which reminds me - have it done when someone can be home with you. You never know what kind of people have these transportable kind of businesses. I learned the hard way that the cheapest is not necessary the way to go (and doesn't end up being so cheap in the end!)

Many people swear by this...I however could smell mold from my ducts before they cleaned and after. Good luck!

When we bought our house two years ago - the furnace made alot of dust. We called SAFETY KING on Twenty Two Mile and Shelby in Shelby Township. It made a SIGNIFICANT difference. If you can't find the number, feel free to email me back and I can look for our receipt.

we used breathe easy duct cleaners. they seemed fine....don't have anyone to compare them to. we have to have our dryer vent cleaned out yearly, because it's such a distance from the dryer to the outside...
