Does anyone have recommendations on an affordable photographer in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area? Preferably one who provides a CD and also that shoots on-location. I am wanting to have pictures of myself, my husband and one year old son done. Thanks! :)

Heather with Chunky Monkey Photography is awesome! She is great with our boys. She has regular sessions as well as mini sessions, so something to fit in with everyone. We had some family pics done last year and really loved the results. We have two girls (4 and 2) and they captured some breath-taking moments of them. They also captured some fun family shots as well. I think they have done most of their shoots on location. They are very familiar with location shots. We had ours done at the Arboretum. We have used the same photographer the past two years for our family photos and absolutely loved her and her work. She will meet you wherever you want to take the pics. Her name is Carla McMahon and her company is called Moxishots (http://www.moxishots.com/). She will produce the photos for you or you can justs get the CD and do it yourself, which is what we have done. I've used her photos for my Christmas Cards the past two years as well. We use Laurie Saldivar in Grand Prairie but she does shoot on location. We have done family pictures at the Arboretum as well as my daughter's 2-year pictures at the Canal in Las Colinas. She does amazing work and truly has a gift. We have been using her since my daughter was born. Her personality is out of this world. Such a sincere person! We used Natalie Ann when my daughter turned 4, and the pictures were wonderful! She was very reasonably priced and you do get a disk with copyright release.

She just did my one year old daughter's pictures. She cried the whole time and didn't sit for a second and the pictures are out of this world! We are having family pictures done in a few weeks. For just Ava's pictures it was $135 for as many pictures has she can take and you get a CD. Then for the whole family we are doing a mini session-- which is only 30 mins and you get about 20 pictures for only $50! She was voted top 5 in Dallas!

I have a GREAT photographer that I use in McKinney. Her name is Kim Craig Tommorrows Legacy Photography . I have used her a few times last year for Easter(live bunny), my son's 1st B-Day smash cake pictures, and then we are going to the Pumpkin Patch at the Dallas Arboretum this weekend. She is very reasonable. Only drawback is that she doesn't print any pictures, you get the CD to print them on your own.
