So What Happened?

Thank you moms!!
I found a nice one at Kohls. Zero exposure. I have one and I just don't get cold with it so I knew if I liked mine a lot it would be a good choice for my boys!! Very happy!

We like the Columbia 3 in 1 jackets where the bottom layer is fleece and can be zipped out and the top layer is windproof &/waterproof.

I think the best kids winter jackets are from LL Bean or Lands End. We usually order from Lands End.

Check Kohl's and Children's Place if you have them up there.

I think Lands End has the nicest jackets. They have several different kinds, but I prefer the parkas. They are really warm but not bulky. You can order them online or Sears carries them. They even have ones that grow with your child, with a kind of hem that you can let out...

I will never buy a cheap winter jacket again. I would consider ll bean but the outlet is quite a drive for me so I go to a near by outlet that has a huge columbia jacket sale at the end of winter. I have get them for between 15-30 sometimes w/ snow pants. The one time I waited until fall/winter and bought cheap I had to replace it a month and half or so into the winter. I have 2 boys and and 3 nephews so I like to be able to hand things down. The columbia jackets have lasted my oldest 2 years, and then we were able to hand it down to the 2 oldest nephews and they each got a year out of it and now my youngest will be wearing it.

hands down lands end. i get my kids' winter stuff during their winter clearance (end of february), so i pay peanuts for everything. i also order stuff online from them and return at sears stores if something doesn't fit or look good.

Landsend.com - check out the overstocks on the top right corner! Sometimes they have last years coats on there. Great quality.
