If you would like to take just a few kids (10 or less!) Build-A-Bear at the Firewheel Mall in Garland is my daughters favorite.
Hey moms! My daughter will be turning 6 in a couple of weeks and we originally were going to rent a giant slip-n-slide for her and all her friends but with all the rain we've been experiencing, there's no way we could do that now. What other ideas have you done for your young daughters parties? Any help is gladly appreciated!

If you want to go really girlie, sweet n sassy does fun girlie parties! Or you could do Jumping Party of Fort Worth, Pump It Up or one of the similar places here locally (Bouncing Bonanza). I saw that someone listed Clubhouse for Kids, but unfortunately the one in Bedford closed down and the only other location is in Dallas.
Hi M.,
I recently took my 6 yr old daughter, 6 yr old neice and 19 mth old son to a place called The Clubhouse For Kids Only. They're located in Plano off of Independence Pkwy.
It was so much fun and they just loved it! I couldn't get them to leave or stop talking about it.
We are having her party next week and were going to do it there but realized Chuck E Cheese was alot closer for all of our guests to drive to but you might want to check it out and see if it's convenient for you.
We plan on taking the kids there at least once a week. It's great for kid's imagination and entertainment.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Take Care.

I've seen this place off of I-20 in Forney. They do have the rentals, but also have an indoor play space for parties. We have a similar place in Arlington where we have attended parties. The kids love it!!!
Call your local recreaction center. We rented out a huge room for $60 for 4 hours. They provided the chairs, tables, ect and we just broguht the decorations, cake, food and a pinata that we later took outside and hung from a tree. The kids had a blast and my daughter loved it! It was her 5th birthday but I bet it would be good for a 6th too. Just an idea. Usually rentals have to be made through the city you live in. You also have all the other options - your house, chuck-e-cheeses, bounce house party, skating rink, bowling ally, some malls even have party options. I like the hotel idea too. Good luck!
I work at Meadowview School in Mesquite and one of the moms here is planning a swim/slumber party for her young daughter at a local hotel that has a special birthday package deal where you get a large suite with a private bedroom. Mom sleeps in the bedroom and the girls sleep on sleeping bags in the large living area. You can bring in your own food like pizza and the girls get to use the indoor pool. I don't remember how much it cost but I remember that it was very reasonable and the best part is that you don't have to clean up after them. Not positive about hotel but I think it may have been Embassy Suites. I know I'll be doing this with my girls when they're ready for a sleepover.
This is different, but I've heard of theme parties for kids that age. Where it's noon or later and they come wearing their pajamas and have a breakfast feast. Theme parties are always great for indoors and I've never known a kid that does not like to dress up.
Hello, have you tried out this new birthday party company called The Royal Party Room?
They bring beautiful parties to whatever location you choose.
They also have different themes. The reviews are great too on parents connect.
