I first would like to thank all of u who responded.. But now i did call her dentist and they say its normal but it mayb something I should get checked if it doesnt go away with the tyenol or mortin..
I did go and get some ora gel from the store and well I did help but by the time morning came she was now complaining of her tounge being numb , so that allso brought on some conceren.. One other thing that i was concerend about and brought to the attesion to the dentist was that my daughter was 4 weeks early and her mouth is a bit small for her age( i was told by several of her doctors she has to see).. I am also questioning is can this be heariditary??

My daughter just got hers and she's 7. There was some soreness as they were growing in, but no swelling. I'd ask the dentist.

My daughter's are coming in & were sore so I put some Baby Orajel on them - this seemed to help.

Poor girl. They come in about that time for sure. At this age they are starting to get their adult teeth, jaw bones, check bones, septum is growing on one side then the other, adult hands and feet are sprouting. They are growing overnight and so many changes are happening to them.

Give her some Motrin and make sure the dentist checks her out to be sure she doesn't have an abscess going on.

Have her rinse with hot salt water. It could be infected. Although my sons were a bit swollen too.

I just want to thank you for asking this question because my daughter is six, and I really had no idea she was going to be sprouting more teeth (although, since she only has 20, I guess that makes sense...) anytime soon. Duh. I am so glad you asked, so I know to look for it (eventually.)

Some kids teeth later than others. If the swelling doesn't go down with the motrin, I'd take her to the dentist just to make sure that they are not infected or growing in wrong.

My 7 1/2 year old is only now beginning to get his molars. He's also just now got his first loose tooth. There are all ranges of "normal" ;)
As for the swelling, I would have that checked just to be on the safe side. Neither of my boys had that with there's but who knows, it might be normal. If anything a phone call to ask can't hurt.
