My son is 5 month's old, 20 lbs and 25", a big boy. He has always been relaxed and very happy, but recently he has been getting angry/frustrated trying to get and keep toys in his mouth. Is this normal? caused by teething, maybe? any advice will be appreciated.

What can I do next?

It sounds to me that your son is teething. Get his some gel teethers and put them in the freezer before you give it to him. with my daughter it helped her calm down when they were cold. I hope it works for you.

Hi, I have a daughter who's 8 month old and she's still going through those moments. I'm pretty sure its the teeth. I give her those homeopathic teething pills and it works pretty well. There is also something called "Camilia" and you can find it as well in homeopathic stores.
Otherwise the best thing you can give your son at night before he goes to bed is some baby tylenol, it will help him sleep better. Good luck :-)

Yes, he's definately teething. If he's not crying let him do what he wants to soothe his poor, aching gums. As long as the toys have no pieces that can break off and choke him or, no toxic material. My son always chewed on his own hand and toys.
