While I believe the old saying, "No two pregnancies are alike" how different were yours? My first pregnancy I had occasional queasiness but nothing terrible. This time, still a tad queasy but I feel crampy almost like a period cramp. It isn't consistent, just kind of comes and goes. Went to my Family Practice for other reasons and they did verify the pregnancy so that is not a worry....is this just a different feeling than the first one? I go for my 8-week appt. end of the month. I am not worried, just curious how different where pregnancies for others. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Each one (5 so far)was more difficult. #1 was EASY and each one...more difficult to the point of misery. I am not that much older, lol. It just...happened that they got more difficult. And fear of childbirth was the worst with #5 because I DID know what I might expect. I was spoiled from #3 (no real labor/pushing and no pain at all, he just came out after I was induced on due date).

O my, mine were night and day, black and white, sun to moon, LOL. My son who was 1st he was the best easiest pregnancy anyone would ask for, I could feel him move but he was gentle and loving, NOT ONCE did I have morning sickness and the only issue I had w/him was swelling and a hand full of nights of acid reflex. Now my daughter O geez I was sick morning noon and night for 13 weeks, she was far from gentle she used me like a jungle gym, and my feet although I didn't swell w/her much each and every ligament in my feet hurt like no other, she gave me carpal tunnel in my hand and acid reflex the whole time and got worse the further along I got.
And now my son is laid back easy going and my daughter is a fire cracker and opinionated. But I wouldn't change a thing knowing it was all worth it for both my kids, it just showed me like the saying says "No two pregnancies are alike"

Congrats on your pregnancy!

Mine were more the same than different. I was sick, throwing up repeatedly, everyday, from about 5 or 6 weeks until the day I delivered both times.
Thank god for zofran.

I'm going to assume that is just how pregnancy is for me and not look for anymore data points :)

The first two were ok,no nausea but had blood pressure(with the 2 pregnancy) and heartburn with the second pregnancy. The 3rd pregnancy had nausea for the first 3 months but had no high blood pressure. Didn't make sense.

My 1st & this current pregnancy ( 14 wks) , have been my worst. This pregnancy I have been sick longer , than with my 1st but I think it's slowly getting better. The middle 2 , my symptoms were about the same. They had different activity levels , though.

My first and second pregnancies I had morning sickness all morning, day and night. But I could not keep anything down my first pregnancy so I lost 20 lbs so thats what I expected with my second and even though I had morning sickness 24hours a day, I did not lose a pound... I was very disheartened by this : ) I just remember not being as worried with my second as I was my first. I was so much more relaxed. I also remember feeling my 2nd baby around 15-16weeks and my first was around 20-21 weeks. With my second, I also had terrible gall bladder attacks- OUCH!

I had morning sickness all day long and throughout the first and second semesters with my first pregnancy. I had very little morning sickness with the second.

With my first I was crazy emotional. Not so with my second.

I did not have braxton hicks contractions with my first. I did with my second.

My second baby had the hiccups all the time. First only had them once that I can recall.

First pregnancy had a normally placed placenta. Second pregnancy had an anterior placenta so I could see it pulsing which was odd.

Low amniotic fluid with the first and premature rupture of membranes. High blood pressure and bed rest with the second.

Really the only similarities were that I had PUPPP with both, both were high risk pregnancies, both were girls, and I had a crazy sense of smell with both.

Mine were all similar, miserable. My SIL had a very easy 1st and a nauseous difficult second. My Aunt had progressively easier pregnancies. And my mother had all easy ones. Everyone is very different.

My pregnancies were almost identical as far as weight gain, acne, cramping, heartburn all that. The differences were that with my second child, I had morning sickness for the entire pregnancy (none with my first), and I developed an allergy to MSG, which has persisted afterwards.
