this is my first pregnancy and im 20 weeks... I can feel the baby move but its like HUGE kicks and rolls i can see it from the outside and have been able to for about 2 weeks, and ive felt it for about 5 weeks... Other people have felt and seen my baby move too so i know im not crazy... but i feel like this is to early for it to be such big movements... do you think i am maybe farther along than i think, or maybe that there is more than one baby so there is less room in there? I get an ultrasound on monday, and i had one at six weeks, but he didnt look all around in my belly he put the ultrasound machine right on the baby and never searched around...

I was just over 14 weeks when I started feeling really big movements. My son was CRAZY in the womb. Seriously. I could literally see what body part was pressed against my stomach. He was active almost constantly. He went especially crazy from 11:00 pm - 6:00 am. My doctor (and any others I saw) were amazed at the kid. Every single one of them said they had never seen activity like that. My date was correct.

Sounds about when my husband was first able to feel the baby move from the outside. It was nice to finally be able to share that amazing feeling with him! Congratulations and best wishes for an easy, healthy pregnancy and delivery!

are you thin? The smaller your body frame the more likely you are to feel the big movements as there isnt much to hide it.

Congrats on your first! While I can't say for certain that there's only one of yours, I can say, I'm currently expecting only one for sure, and this little guy has had visible movements since before the doctor expected me to even be able to feel movement. In fact, I'm pretty sure we skipped over the "butterfly" sensations that supposedly precede the noticeable kicking and rolling. But I hope you'll update us Monday with the results of your ultrasound. Good luck!

This happens to me too. I am very small though and that effects how much you can see and feel.
Congratulations and good luck.

Timing sounds about right to me.

Sounds alright to me, sounds like you just have a busy baby :) I think the reason why the ultrasound tech didn't move around your belly at your first ck is because the baby is so small that they have to magnify alot just to see it. I remember getting my u/s and thats what the tech told me about having to use a large amt of magnification when its that early in the pregnancy. Congrats to you!!

I'd bet money that your placenta is along your back and not on your front at all! The placenta acts like a big pillow and if you don't have much belly fat to start with, and no placenta against your belly button, then you're going to have quite a show before you even meet your baby. You'll probably be one of those women who can see a little foot or hand pressing out :P

My son's placenta was on my front right, so the movements were always muted there. With my daughter (week 22), we just found out the placenta is right in front. So that explained why I took so long to feel her! Now that I'm at week 22 I can feel her more, but the strongest movements are on my sides and no one else has felt her from the outside.
