2 Year Old Low Grade Fever with Hoarse Voice

my daughter had fever started a couple of days ago (tuesday i think) between 100 to 101.6 max. she's in good spirit and she seems fine. however, later in the afternoon her voice started to get a little hoarse. she also have runny nose and cough. wednesday, her fever went down between 98 to 100, and she's playing as usual. her voice is hoarser than yesterday. today, is the same. should i go to see the doctor regarding her voice? any suggestion or advice is much appreciated.

If you are worried, call her doctor and ask the nurse if she needs seen. They will usually tell you if they think it is cause for a visit. Hope she feels better soon!

Look in her mouth if she has any white/yellow patches take her in to get tested for strep if not she may just have the start o a virus. Cough and runny nose don't usually go with strep so she may be hoarse from post nasal drip and he cough

Yes, she may have strep. She is fighting something if her temperture goes up and down a little. It may be small, but I will take her before it gets worst.

when I first read this I thought when did I post this. lol. My daughter is the same way minus the runny nose. I took her to the Dr. no red throat so just viral. My daughter almost sounds croupy when she breathes in when she laughs. I took her to the Dr b/c it progressed quickly and I get worried when they are sick.

Yes, call the dr; they may want to check for strep throat.
