My daughter is turning the big - 1 in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend a bakery that will make beautiful b-day cakes? I would also appreciate any recommendations for birthday party wear! Thank you in advance

This is our friends bakery. It is SOOOOO Good and they can make a cake look like anything. THey did my daughters 2nd birthday with a dora cake ask for Kerrie or Jace and tell them R. Cerda told you about them if you use them Good luck THere web site is on here to so you can look at the pics
I was told that Kroger will make a small cake just for the child and then one for the guest on their 1st birthday.
My son turns 1 in December and that is what I plan on getting.

A co-worker of mine's wife is a SAHM that used to be a professional cake baker/decorator. She does a few cakes out of her house. I can tell you she is awesome, the cakes are delicious and better looking than a grocery store! She's good enough to do wedding cakes and she can do themes, whatever!!!

Cupcake cakes are a real hit, it seems. They can shape the cupcakes into anything you want, i.e. ladybug, your daughters initial. They then cover all the cakes with one layer of icing and it gives the appearance of one big cake. It's real easy to serve too. Central Market does these well, but I think you can find them most anywhere.
