18 Month Old Loves Music - Any Recommendations for a Great Parent/child Class?

I live in Naperville and seeking a class that will help expand my 18 month old's love for music. I am aware of Kindermusik, Gymboree and www.my-gym.com. Any recommendations on specific teachers/classes where you had a great experience. I am not exactly thrilled to pay $100 per class so I am hoping to get some more ideas, besides playing music around the house all the time - which we do now. Thanks so much in advance!

Hi T.,
I highly recommend Music Together. I've been taking my twins for a couple years now. Joan the teacher/owner is AWESOME, really gets everyone in the mood to sing and is great with the kids. We usually attend the classes at the Studio 59 location. I believe someone sent u the website previously.

We go to the Musikgarten class at the Celebration Community Life Center on Washington. Caryn is the teacher and is great!!! Here is the website for info - http://www.mdvinc.com/musicreators/

My son and I have been enjoying Music Together for almost 2 years now. We take our classes with Joan (who is AWESOME!!!) at Edward Health Complex in Woodridge, but she teaches at several other locations (you can find all the info on their website www.musictogetherofnaperville.com). The classes are quite expensive ($165 for 10 weeks) but soooo worth it! You can take a free class and see how you and your daughter like it...

Try Studio 59 in Plainfield on Rt. 59. They run the Music Together program.
Here is the website.

Also, the Gymboree in Plainfield has closed and I would not recommend the Gymboree in Naperville. It is dirty and the owner has done some shady things in the past.

Look through your park district website or catalog and look for classes like Kid Rock or Toddler ROck...those are good.
