Anything cold usually helps soothe the mouth, and right now he needs liquids more than anything. My son lived on popsicles while teething. The steam from warm soup or warm apple cider can also help calm a cold, at least temporarily.

Hi J.,
My daughter is also 16 months old and teething her molars and has a cold!!! We supplement with Pediasure, she likes the vanilla flavor.
Good luck!

Try the B.R.A.T. Diet. Bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. Fairly bland easy to eat foods that won't upset his tummy and are mostly pretty soft, which is good for those molars.

My son has been going through the same thing getting his molars... I would also agree, use the BRAT diet and if he isn't eating too well, just make sure he is staying really hydrated, Pedialyte or watered down gatorade is what I give my kids. My docs always have told me not to worry too much if they don't seem to have much of an appetite, they will eat when they are hungry, and to just keep pushing fluids.

I started shopping with an International Wellness Company. They manufacture naturally based and environmentally sensitive products for the home and personal care that are more economical than what most people are already buying.

I am trying to tell as many people as possible about these products because I think everyone should have them in their home. I would love to set a day and time with you so you can hear more about them.

Hello Hot Mama,

How is your baby? I hope is better now. When my daughter was a baby and didn't want to eat I gave her pediasure- has all the vitamins they need. Vanilla was her favorite. I hope this helps for the next he doesn't want to eat.

You might want to try an all-natural herbal formula that is SAFE and non-addictive (even for kids) called Calmazon. It works to relax the body, reduce inflammation and pain, and calm the nervous system. There is also another formula called Recovazon that specifically accelerates healing from injury and illness. If you want more information about them feel free to contact me or check out: www.shootingstarherbs.amazonherb.net.
