Yes immediately, if you have tried Childrens tylenol and rubbing alcohol on the body avoid the face and that does not bring her tempt down take her immediately, because it could be an infection of some sort. hope she feels better

106 is definitely high.
Call your doctor and see if they can see her or they advise taking her to ER.

Well listen, I'm not so sure you need to go to the ER. Yes, it's scary, and yes maybe a call to the pediatrician's office is warranted, but it's only been a day. When we're sick it takes time to heal. Are you giving her alternating tylenol and motrin? That will help, especially b/c her fever is so high and isn't breaking. You can alternate the dosage every 3 hours, it's safe to give a full dose as long as you are alternating each one.

What other symptoms does she have? If she has sores on her hands, feet or face then it could be hand/foot/mouth. Does she have any rashes or vomiting?

Honestly, her doctor isn't open yet and may not even be open at all today. I would look up the number to your local ask a nurse and go from there. They will help you and will know if there are any specific bugs going around right now. Don't panic. Before going to the ER speak to a nurse ( you can also call your doctor's office and they will page someone) and let them guide you. You don't want to hit the ER on a holiday weekend unless you need to!!!

Hang in there!!

106? Serious? Yes, ER now.

Have you tried cool baths? Tylenol? No clothes?

At this age, there is not much they can do. It's probably viral and has to run it's course. If it makes you feel better, take her to the dr in the morning... if they are open. If not, run her by the ER for a checkup.

Yes, go to the ER, and if you haven't already, call your pediatrician. You can call them day or night 24/7! There will be a doctor on call and a nurse on call or an answering service. Call on the way to the hospital! You will want your ped or one of his/her partners to be in contact with the ER staff.
