What to Do with the Piles and Piles of School Artwork?!

I'm desperately trying to get a handle on the chaos in my house that has gotten out of hand since my fourth baby was born in September. I am able to organize most things pretty efficiently, but the one thing I have never been able to figure out how to deal with is the artwork and school papers that come home every day. Now I have 2 kids in preschool, so they are coming home with completed cut and paste exercises, paper bag hand puppets, painted masterpieces, and a ton of projects that relate to the current season or theme of the week. ...

Air Travel Tips

In December my family (husband and twin daughters) will be traveling to Chicago for a wedding. The girls will be almost a year and a half by then. My question is, does anyone have any air travel tips for me. We booked the flight, hotel and rental car all at once as a package. I made sure the hotel provided cribs (i didn't want them to escape when they decide they don't want to sleep). The girls will be flying on our laps, and I booked a non-stop flight so there will be less frustration. I'm hoping the flight won't be full, that way no one...

Driving Cross Country with a Toddler!

Hello! I wrote a similar question a while back, but now am looking for more ideas - specific ideas for activities to do with a toddler on a LONG road trip. We are driving from Wisconsin to Florida. We plan on stopping regularly and for those breaks I am bringing bubbles, a blow up beach ball, etc. But I need activity ideas for in the car - CREATIVE ones...I already know the usual crayons, coloring books, DVD player (which I don't want to use because we really don't watch TV, but will have it just in case), etc...but I am looking for...
