Refusing to Take Pedialyte

My son is 8 months old and is vomiting. I have tried giving him different pedialyte flavor drinks to help reduce dehydration, but he is refusing to drink them. He did take a bottle but unfortunately that came back up after an hour. What can I give him instead or is there another way to give him pedialyte to ensure he stays hydrated?

Transitioning to Whole Milk

My son has been exclusively breastfed. He will be one next week so we are in the process of transitioning to whole milk. The problem is he hates the taste. I have tried mixing whole milk with expressed breast milk, using a very, very small amount of whole milk in hopes of "tricking" him. But he still hates it. He will take one sip and spit the rest out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how best to transition to whole milk? Thanks and happy holidays!!!

Is Pedialyte Ok for 3 Month Old?

Hi Moms, Ok, I may be jumping the gun here, but I'll ask just in case. I'm just getting over the flu (blech) and now I'm paranoid that my 3 month old is going to get sick. I know my 3 yo has it :( >sigh< Anyway, should my baby get it, is pedialyte ok to give her? I breastfeed her. Yay! Just in time for Mother's Day! E.

2 Yr Old Won't Drink Pedialyte

Hello, My 2 year old daughter has a slight cold, little fever, so far no vomiting.( Thank god!) But will not drink pedialyte....any flavor! Nor will she drink the Walgreens brand, the CVS brand....none of them. So my question is, is there anything else I can give her that won't cause diharrera or dehydration, like juice can? She will drink some water, but not as much as she will if it was juice. Thanks in advance.
