Ok hubby and I have been trying since Aug to conceive #2, and found out Ins does not cover any infertility treatments so I have been tracking my days having sex everyother day keep my bum up after, you guys get the hint. well this past week I have been nausous (sp) every night, very very tired all day long and my one true enjoyment of having a cup of coffee in the a.m. is no longer enjoyable in fact its down right gross. Hubby says I am pregnant but the tests have come back negatory. I still have 8 days till my period is supposed to start. I dont have any sort of pms prior to starting infact my periods are very easy only 2-3 days tops. I dont remember feeling this way with dd. Not until my 2nd trimester and that was a whole differant story. So I am just wondering if any of you mama's had early symptoms then the normal 6 weeks action. I am not looking to be belittled here so please keep any negative or rude comments to yourself. I am not getting my hopes up here I know I still have a week to wait till I am supposed to start but dh is convienced I am preggers. He has never seen me like this and with dd he knew I was and had to convience me to take a prego test. thanks in advance.

just a side note for those that plan on writting something negaitve its not in my head I have no desire to feel this way and not know why. I am not the type of person to get my hopes up and then dwell on the fact that I was let down. so please keep the rude comments to yourself I asked what was your early signs and also when did they start beside the usual 6 weeks. believe it on not not everything is text book .

What can I do next?

I knew I was pregnant a week before my period was supposed to start because of how awful I felt, sick, tired, blah. I had to wait a week to take a test to confirm what I already knew. Taking a test sooner would have shown up negative. Wait till you're late then re-test.

I had fatigue very early on. I fell asleep in the recliner with my two kids on my lap (you know, that feeling that you're so tired you could cry). I took a test the next day at 3.5 weeks and it came back positive. Good luck to you.

I have 5 children. FIVE children. I ALWAYS knew before the test came back positive. With the 4th one, I knew the next morning. I just knew it. My early symptoms were changes in smell... as in I could smell everything and it smelled weird and being extremely tired. I used to feel like someone had drugged me, I was so tired. I didn't get the sore boobs, but don't with my period either. Never have.
Good luck. Patience is the only thing you can do for now. But let us know what you find out!

I had morning (all day) sickness from like a week after we conceived, not to mention my chest hurt so bad I couldn't lay on my tummy to sleep and i couldn't ever seem to wake up. I was lucky enough to have tests come back positive very early as well though so I wasn't waiting long for an answer.

Funny, the first time I was pregnant, what went first was my smell! I had purchased for myself a new perfume but did not actually use it until a month later -- and in between, I conceived and was already 3-4 weeks along without knowing it. Then, one day, I opened the bottle only to find that it smelled like a skunk to me. I was so upset, and planned on taking it back to the store with an earful for the saleslady for selling me a "rancid, old perfume." Thankfully (for the saleslady! LOL), I never had time to do that, because a week later I noticed that I was both late and that both perfume and tuna smelled like skunk to me (I noticed while eating my lunch at work). I tested myself and I was pregnant.

This time, I was too busy with my son to pick up on early signs, I suppose...but I just remember that one day I was so exhausted, I came home from work and slept from the moment I got home at 6PM until the next morning, in my work clothes and everything. Two days later I made myself eggs for breakfast and they smelled like...you guessed it! That skunk smell prompted me to run to the drug store and sure enough I was pregnant with number two.

I still have that perfume...funny, all throughout my pregnancy I could not smell that fragrance in particular. Even after I delivered, for months it still smelled like skunk to me. When it finally started to smell like how I recalled it smelling in the department store, I still hesitated on wearing it -- it was weird, it was like I psychologically associated it with a bad experience or something. I just could not bring myself to wear it anymore.

With my first I did not have any symtoms at first and did not know that I was pregnant until probably around 6 weeks along when I missed a period and finally took a test. With my 2nd I swear I knew almost immediately! I was so tired, as soon as I got out of bed to get breakfast ready for my son I had to lie back down on the couch for awhile before I could make breakfast and little bits of nausea but no throwing up. This was all about a week and half before a missed period, and even the day that I was supposed to get my period I had a lot of cramping so I thought for sure that I was wrong and was going to get my period. BUT it never came, took a test the next day and it was positive!

Granted my situation was a little different since I had Invetro done, but I started having symptoms (morning sickness, breast tenderness, very tired and even some cramping) 2 days after the transfer which would have made it around 18 days prior to my next period. I brushed it off too but to my surprise, I was pregnant. Everyone told me it was way too early to have any symptoms, but guess they were wrong.

Don't stress too much (I know easier said then done). Your EPTs might not be detecting it yet. If you have the money, I recommend using the digital ClearBlue Easy test. They are pricey, but are very sensitive and will pick up the smallest hint of HCG in your urine.

Lots of luck being sent your way!

My earliest sign of pregnancy was mild cramps. They kinda felt like period cramps, but not as bad. I tested positive a day later on a home pregnancy test 5 days before my period was due. I didnt really have any other symptoms other than that until the nasuea kicked in weeks later. I didnt start getting really tired until my 2cd trimester.

I knew I was pregnant before my period - I just felt "different." I didn't have any real symptoms yet but I guess I just didn't feel like I normally did before a period. I tested one day before my period should have started. Shortly after that - sore boobs, urinating all the time, and (embarrassing!) bloating and gas. Those signs probably started in the first week or two after I should have gotten my period. My allergies also got worse while I was pregnant (stuffy nose) but I don't remember how early that started.

Are you charting your basal body temperature? I wasn't sure if that's what you meant by "tracking your days" or if you were just counting from your last period. I was surprised to find out that my "fertile" time a few days later in the month than normal - we were concentrating on the wrong days. Good luck!

Sore breasts, and I one day literally smelled Long John Silvers from a mile away! I had also taken an eary test and it came back negative. Funny thing was I was pregnant with twins! I would have thought all that extra hormone would have showed up but it didn't.

With my first, I had sore boobs. With all others I had no symptoms at all until a few weeks after I knew I was pregnant. And, like you, I was watching and testing all the time. I hope you see two pink lines very soon! Best wishes.

I remember making fajitas (my fav meal) and when I sat down to eat them, I thought it was disgusting! Yeah, found out a couple weeks later I was preggo. Another big tip was my boobs hurt. 8 days before missed period might be too early to test. Try again next week. Good luck!

Pretty much right from day one, I felt irritation in my lower abdominal area. It felt really uncomfortable and I ended up going to the doctor to see if I had a bladder infection. While I was there I asked them to do a pregnancy test and it came back negative, as did the bladder infection test. This was maybe a week, week and a half before my missed period. But in the end, I was pregnant after all. Didn't have any nausea until like week six or so but I think everybody is different. Good luck to you!

at about 5 weeks I started having nausea and smells were bothering me. I also was craving carbs-- french toast sticks and tator tots from sonic sounded delicious! I didn't know I was pregnant because we weren't trying and I thought I was barren after 10 years of no birth control so I wasn't paying attention to my cycles anymore. Surprise!

I hope you get some happy news in 8 days. : )

My early signs were 'Exactly' like when I get my period. We planned for my DD so I knew when I should be able to either expect a positive pregnancy test or my period to show up. The day before I was able to take the test I remember getting really discouraged because I had all the signs and symptoms of my period. I was tired, cranky, a sore back, sore boobs, etc and I figured that it was just that, my period but the next morning I took the test as planned and Voila Preggers. This was also only 2 weeks from when I obviously conceived so I would say that you def. could be. But like you said, try not to get your hopes up because it is really discouraging when you think/hope that you are and you arent. We are also trying for baby #2.
Good Luck =) and let us know what happens

For me, it was fatigue, but even then it wasn't until right AFTER I got a positive test. It would be very unlikely you would be getting nauseous this early before you get a positive test, to be honest. Not impossible, but very unlikely.

I had all of the symptoms you described about a week and half before I missed my period. I took a test 5 day before I was supposed to start and it was negative, and again on the day of and that time it was positive. After the positive test I didn't have any more symptoms until about 6 weeks. Good luck

Early pregnancy symptoms, unfortunately, mimic many other things. Sometimes we even imagine them when we really, really want to be pregnant. That said, yes, all your symptoms sound like pregnancy. 8 days is a little too soon. I know it's super tempting to pee on that stick every day but try to wait. I will keep a good thought for you, I hope this is your month! Good luck!

frequent urination was my first. It would be very rare to get nausea as an early pregnancy sign because that is caused by high levels of hormones and if your pregnancy test aren't even picking up the hormones, they likely aren't high enough to make you sick either.

My earliest signs this time were tender breasts and acne. My face is usually clear and I have one or two pimples durning my period. I noticed the acne about a week and a half before my period and the tenderness a few days later. Good luck.
