Yoga Studio on the West Side

I am thinking of opening a Yoga studio on the west side of the Salt Lake Valley most likely in South Jordan or Riverton. How many of you moms would support a yoga studio on those cities.

What can I do next?

Heaven's YES! I would love to have a Yoga studio to go to. I live in West Jordan and would be thrilled to be able drive to South Jordan for Yoga.

I would LOVE one. I am in Herriman so I would hope it would be in Riverton rather than South Jordan.
Good Luck!

I live up at Suncrest in Draper and would definitely drive to Riverton for a yoga class and/or Pilates.

I am actually trying to find more affordable workout ideas... I guess it would depend on how much you would charge, but I love yoga and would definately try to support you if I could! I would pay the price for a gym or whatever, but my husband is in the middle of full-time school and work, trying to make ends meet until he graduates. Let me know if you are going to do it, and if so prices and hours, etc. I think it's a great idea!

How much would it cost? My husband determines the budget, and if it's too expensive, he'd prefer I do a video...but I'd go if it's in our price range.

I live in the Sandy area and do yoga on Fit TV all the time. I would love to do it if it was a less expensive route, i.e. not paying for a gym. I always tell my husband I am going to take them from the community ed but I never do. If it centered around moms too that would be great! Keep us updated. I love yoga. It has slimmed me down a ton since my two kids and helped with my back. Let me know if you need help. I am a SAHM and could use something on the side. A good place to consider using is dance studios, they are always up to have someone share there rent and they are built for it with parking and space etc.

Awesome idea! I am in!
An idea would be:
Mom and tot classes
or to have some sort of day care there....
I think with a lot of us moms, it is hard to get out and do workouts, since we don't have anywhere to take our kids.
At nights, a lot of us are beat and have plenty to do for the next day, which means we can't leave to go get that workout we needed.
I just started a biggest loser club, and I just know a lot of the ladies in my group would love to do some weekly classes. Most of them have children though...
Great idea, either way! Good luck to you, and keep my email address so you can notify me when you get it going.
Maybe this summer, if you don't have a building, you could do a class or two at a park, where the kids can play on the equipment, but close enough for us mom's to keep an eye on them! Good luck!

I LOVE bikram yoga. It made a HUGE dent in my stress level and boosted my energy higher than it's been in years. However, Sandy is too far to drive--it takes a huge chunk of time away from my kids.

I'd love to see a bikram studio in So J. I'm not sure about normal yoga, I think they have classes at the community center by my house...but I've never looked into it.
