I've always had a great experience with Jumpers Fun Zone in Newtown Square. The kids love it, and the owners do everything for you, even the cleanup. It's perfect for a five year old boy. Good luck!

I had my son's 5th birthday at Build a Bear and the kids loved it. The price ranges from $10 to $25 per kid and the best part is each kid gets a new stuffed animal to take home so I didn't even bother with gift bags. If you go with the $25 per kid, you get $25 off your total which is one kid free, and each kid picks 1 out of a certain group of animals plus an outfit of their choice. They put on a nice party and the kids had a ball.
Another good place for that age is Bounce U. I've never had a party there but I've been to a couple and again the kids had a ball.

Hope this helps!

HI,

I LOVE Bounce U. I am not sure if you have one near you but look them up. I had my sons bday there last year and also this yr (he is 6 now). He absolutly loves it and the parents can just drop the kids off and the staff take care of everything. It is fabulous and I would suggest it to anyone!!!!

Hi A.. My son is only two and we've so far only had his parties at home. However some fanily memebers have had their children's parties at Bettey's Fun Center, Linvilla Orchards, and Moonbounce Adventure.

we had fun at moonbounce adventures, least favorite was Bounce U. We're hoping to try Monkey Joe's for the next since the kids really have a good time there for open play.

I have done Mcdondalds, bowling alley, build a bear, have down the local fire hall. Bowling alley you get a bowling pin for the child to keep and the one that i went to had a party room and include the food and clean up of the room and fire hall was nice because it was big and i was able to decrtate to what i wanted and there was little clean up where the best. Build a bear was fun but rather high in price. McD was high in price and there really was nothing big that they did for the kids. And for the price, it would be cheaper to just take your kids there on a regular night and have dinner or lunch.

My Gym in Springfield. I currently go there for classes every week and we love it! We haven't had a birthday party yet, my son is only 2, but recently a couple friends of mine had their child's there and said it was great!!
