What Is Your Guilty Pleasure?

Reading romance novels! I know it's ridiculous, but at the same time, it's a cheap and easy way to escape mentally from the stress of the day.

I mention I have errands to run.....then go to a movie in the middle of a weekday afternoon by myself and have popcorn and a coke. I love this private, alone, me time!! ooh and watching the Vampire Diaries!

Eating junk food and watching DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER on A&E.

Mine is actually 'stalking' my three favorite websites. :) and playing the bubble games on a free game site... kids go to bed out comes the computer and DVR for an hour or so!

America's Next Top Model, Gossip Girl! And I am NOT guilty. Sometimes we need something a little less intellectual to space out on, between motherhood, working, homes, significant others, doctors, school, homework, projects, soccer, etc, etc, etc. NO GUILT, watch with gusto!

I watch cable news shows into the night while eating dark chocolate raisinettes.

I can't stand MTV. I grew up when it meant Music Television. Now it just has filth and I can't remember the last time I surfed by it and heard music.

My pleasure is Law and Order: SVU. It never fails that when I have a paper due for class, they are having a marathon on...lol. I end up going to bed at 1am after I finally finished the papers.

Dancing With the Stars, People magazine and McWilliams cabernet :)

I love GOSSIP GIRL and 90210 and Melrose Place (I am 36 so was an original 90210 and Melrose fan, the new ones aren't as good - hahahah!) Jersey Shore is like passing a car crash, you don't want to look but have to. I have to watch when I see it more for the reason that I am a LOCAL here...and it just CRACKS ME UP to see these people all over the town that I grew up and still live in. (my friends and I are beach girls) but I'm all to familiar with the club scene from back in the day and those Jersey Shore cast members are to funny!

Love 16 and Pregnant and now Teen Moms... hehehe. Also, love Secret Life of a Teen on ABC Family. Haha.

Other guilty pleasures are sneaking into my kids candy stash and enjoying a piece of chocolate or other kind of candy here or there. Mmmm.... candy. hehe.

I used to watch One Tree Hill. I loved it! Don't know why! I watched Gossip Girl for a while, but stopped. Lol!

i am a huge jersey shore fan too! i am also a wife, mother of 2 young kids and i work.

say what you want, these shows are a mindless escape. i don't watch it for any educational value whatsoever. i watch it for the same reasone people rubberneck a car accident.

i also use anthony bourdain's no reservations as a travel/foodie escape too. as they say, "whatever floats your boat." right? ha! keep watching mtv, i'll be watching it right with you!

it's sci fi and vampire shows for me. Lately I've been all about Highlander and Firefly. And Psych, for some reason. I've had that theme song stuck in my head all week.:-)

Soaps..I tape Young and the Restless, One Life to Live, and General Hospital. Though I haven't been watching General Hospital lately. I'm getting very bored with it.

Well not currently, but awhile back... it was watching "Highlander." And the reruns.
OMG Adrian Paul is so gorgeous! I just happen to love martial arts too.
My Hubby would make fun of me... but watch it with me.

I love 16 & pregnant too! And Teen Mom, it makes me feel better about my own life lol. I also like Bravo. Housewives is my ultimate guilty pleasure. Those woman are rich, but I still wouldn't want their lives. Yeah, crappy indulgant TV is my guilty pleasure too.

Mamapedia! I get sucked into reading questions and responses and the next thing I know, an hour has passed! I hide a box of Mike&Ikes in my desk drawer to munch on while I read...

Getting off work early on fridays and going straight home, taking everything off but a smile and sleeping til my other half brings home the youngun is my guilty pleasure. No TV, no music, no mommamommamommamommamomma. No hunny can ya...no nuthin.

Actually, I don't feel guilty about that at all...lol Maybe I'm unfit... :)
