1. its not your period, it is implantation bleeding, or spotting, and you are still pregnant.
2. it is your period, you were pregnant, you miscarried early, and you are registering as pregnant because pregnancy hormones can persist despite miscarriage.

test again in a week, or go to the doctor for a blood test.

Best,

uuumm....it means your pregnant....

Have you had a Health Sciences class? Did your mom or dad talk to you about the birds and the bees??

Yes, you can still have your period when you are pregnant. It's not "common" but it's not rare either. Talk to your doctor.

With my son, I tested before my period was due and it was positive. But my period came on schedule. I thought I had miscarried - it was more than implantation bleeding, it seemed to be a full period. Nope, he was absolutely fine and is a healthy 10 year old now.

Faulty test, early pregnancy bleeding (not a period if you are pregnant), early miscarriage, anything. You have to assume both that you are pregnant (so avoid substances you should not consume), and that you are not (use contraception if you are not trying to get pregnant). If you are on the pill, call your doctor immediately about whether you should continue/restart after your period. Then you wait to take another test (try another brand if you think the one you used might be substandard or expired or just hard for you to read), or go to the doctor for a blood test.

You can still have periods while pregnant, it's just not common.

You could be pregnant. Even on your period. Best to go and get a blood test with your physician to be sure.
