I just joined ww and really need a website that just says "here is what you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner". I have looked at dotties and a lot of the others. But haven't found anything that says it this cut and dry. I am like most moms just busy with kids and need this to be easy. If you have any suggestions that would be great!

If you just joined then some of the materials tell you exactly what to eat. They give you a sample menu that you can follow. Also did you get the monthly pass? You can access that online as well. If you need more help email me privately. WW is awesome!

TF, I joined ww about 5 different times and quit each time because I need someone to say "do this" apparently so did a lot of other people because now they have a program at weight watchers that does that lol. Are you staying for the after program at your meetings? At our meeting we have the regular half hour meeting and then there is another short meeting about things like tracking/getting started filling foods etc I don't remember the names of them but there are 3 that just run on a continual cycle. the reason I am mentioning this is that they give you a bigger tracker that is a bright color. inside it is a weeks worth of menues. follow them. I started the last week of january and have lost 13 lbs. I am happy with that. figure if I can aim for a pound or two I will hit my goal. good luck. its hard to do it just online so go to a meeting if you can.

Give some more information - are you using the online tools? Do you have a membership so you can go to meetings?

If you can, go to meetings and ask for help. You can also use the online tools to plan out your meals.

They have some sample plans, I think, with the online tools. Also, in the information you get when you join they give you some ideas.

Most of it though - once you "get" the points, you play with the points to plan your meals - that way its less restrictive than if you have to follow someone else's menu.

Hey TF,

Team Beachbody has a club membership that gives you a meal plan based on what you are trying to accomplish. It tells you what to eat each day and gives you a shopping list. You do have the option to change out any meals if it gives you something that you don't think you will like. You also get a coach that can help answer any questions (me). I know what it is like being a busy mom. BTW it is only $2.99 a week. If you would like to talk about your goals and the best way to achieve them you can message me. I keep my breakfast and lunch really simple (only a couple of options) and change up my dinners. That is what works best for me.

I have a friend who lost a whole lot of weight by subscribing to a plan that actually provides the food. This was years ago and I don't know if there is still one that will do the same thing.

Her plan gave her frozen meals. All she had to do was cook them. She had a sheet that told her which food was for which meal.

I have a friend now who subscribed to a plan that sent packaged meals to her but she would ended up picking and choosing and adding her own food and she didn't succeed. I can't think of the plan name right now.

I think I've seen Weight Watchers books that provided menu's.

My daughter uses WW points system. She bought a scale that helps her with portion sizes that also gives points info to her. She's having success in spite of not following it religiously.

And I think that Jenny Craig also provides menus but I'm not sure.

www.sparkpeople.com it is totally free and they have a menu plan you can print out. It is really easy. You also can track food you eat that is not on the menu plan. IMO it is the best online tool out there.

Other people have given you great tips on website and things, but I think the key to being on WW and staying with it long-term is to incorporate the PointsPlus into your normal food and routine by eating smaller portions, substituting lower point options, and tracking everything you eat. If you try to change the way you eat too dramatically, it will be hard to stick with in the long run. That is my experience after 25 years of dieting. I love WW more than anything b/c I feel like it's most suited to real life-- it's not a diet. It just teaches you how to eat real food in the real world. And it works. Long term. For real. And no, I don't work for them. Not even a lifetime member. Yet. But I love it!

If you join Jillian Michael's website, it gives what you need to eat each day AND what work out you need to be doing each day.

Good luck,

There is another great program out there that gives you exactly what you are looking for. This lifestyle program tells you what to eat (and no they are not just shakes!!), when to eat it and what to buy when you go grocery shopping they also include an exercise program for home and gym. This is 100% sustainable and your whole family can eat this way :)

I did WW and it worked great!!! The two websites I used (and still use) are www.skinnytaste.com and www.emilybites.com, now these are WW recipe blogs....their recipes are great and they even tell you points per recipe. I'm not aware of a website that tells you what to eat specifically....the most important thing with WW is logging all your food and not going over your points per day....it's hard at first, but it becomes second nature really fast....good luck :)

I do work for WW & will tell you that if you attend meetings & stay for the PowerStart sessions, you will get a tracker with each one that gives you sample menus. There are 3 different ones and the sessions rotate each week. Also, if you have a monthly pass you can go online to WW.com and get the information you need. Talk to your leader they can tell direct you to the right places for what you want specifically.

Remember to be successful it is a lifestyle change & you will need to work @ it, so while it may be nice to be spoonfed what to eat initially while you get on plan - you have to look ahead to see what is liveable & workable for you & your life long term.
