Hi Ladies,

Is it safe to leg wax and arm wax during pregnancy? I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but some websites say its not safe. I didn't really want to bother my doc with such a non important question by calling her, so just wanted to ask how many continued waxing during pregnancy. I am in my second trimester.

What can I do next?

It's perfectly safe. You may find it a little more painful than usual- your body has increased blood flow and often skin is a little more sensitive.

As a side note, it is your doctor's job to answer questions like these- if it seems to bother her then you should consider changing providers.

I kept bikini waxing throughout my pregnancy. It was a bit more painful, as the other poster said, but def. worth it... even though i couldn't see it except in the mirror!
