Trying to save......any Cheap Shopping Websites?

Overstock.com has a wide variety of things. It's hit or miss, depending on what you're looking for at the time. Really cheap shipping.

Lands' End online Overstocks section also has fabulous deals. If you get on their email list, Lands' End will send you fabulous deals. Right now, they have 40% off summer clothes, plus free shipping.

Etsy.com is super for gifts, jewelry and other items. All homemade by various types of artists. Really great deals on unique, special items.

depends on what you want. Dallas has lots of discount places. We are lucky to live in a city with great shopping and often at a good price.

For clothing, avoid the mall. Shop the sale rack at Gap and Old Navy for the kids. Marshall's, etc.... in general. Often you can find the exact same thing they have in the mall for a fraction of the price.

Tuesday Morning is a great discount place for all sorts of things.

The list goes on. I'm going to bet if you list exactly what you are looking for the Mama's will come out of the woodwork to make great recomendations.

a few things. before i order anything online i go to retailmenot.com and type in the name of the store and see if there are any online coupons.
i also use smartbargains.com and do google checkout (type in google search box, smartbargains.com) and then check out that way. you get instand 15 percent off and free shipping.
i also use 6pm.com for shoes
i would love to use zappos but have found out their shoes are way more expensive than elsewhere.

You can find a LOT of stuff with http://www.dealnews.com You can even sign up for free email alerts on certain categories or keywords so that you know when they post new deals.

They also have another site http://www.dealcoupon.com that lists coupons for stores.

Most of the deals are for online purchases, but some are also in-stores.

Oh & they will not list a store with a bad BBB rating or one that has gotten multiple reader complaints. :)

Whenever I buy anything online, I always check these two sites first. First, Ebates.com. If you sign up they give you cash back for your purchases through vendors on their list.

The second is RetailMeNot.com. You can search for coupon codes for the online stores you're shopping at.

Recently I bought a pair of shoes online. I got 10% back from Ebates, found a coupon code for $10 off, and then found out that by signing up for the vendor's email newsletter, I'd get an additional $10 off! Total savings: about $35!

Do you have any consignment sales or stores in your area? They are a great way to save money. You can also buy some items though Craigslist or garage sales.
Other than that, make sure to wait for sales and watch out for coupons from your favorite stores, especially for big item purchases.
