So i'm having a combined party for my turning 4 years old daughter and my turning 2 year old son. My daughter had wanted a butterfly cake, so i was going to do butterflies and bugs or butterflies and frogs. but now she has decided she really wants strawberry shortcake. Any ideas on a matching boy idea that kinda compliments it? Thanks!

you talking about Strawberry Shortcake the character or the flavor of cake? If its the character, they have a boy in there called Huckleberry. You could do something with that. If you cant find Huckleberries, then Blueberries work ok. If its just the flavor, I would go with something more masculine like cookie or cupcake type theme.
What about cupcakes?
Have some that have butterflies on it and some with a "boy" thing, or colors.

Okay seriously not much matches with Strawberry SHortcake, so how about garden animals (chipmunks, mice, rabbits etc.) ? Strawberries do grow in a garden after all...
