I was wondering if there were any moms out there who were interested in creating a playgroup, or setting up get togethers for children to meet? I have 3 children, Bailey (B)8, Carter (B)5. and Emma (G)3. We have been here for 4 years and will be here till Sep. 2011. Most of the families we have known with children their ages have all PCS'd, and I would like for them to meet some children outside of school. (They go to St. Louis RC in Newmarket). Also, if there is anyone in the Soham/Ely area that knows of things to do locally, I would appreciate it. We just bought a house in Soham, and we are still trying to get to know the area.

I also have 3 children, 3 year old twin boys and a 2 year old daughter. Still quite young. They go to busybees.

Hi! My husband works at Mildenhall and we live on Feltwell. I was excited to hear about you interest in creating a playgroup. Although, my son is a lot younger. I have one son and he is 13 months. I am 26 and have separated from the AF to stay home with my son, but do not know anyone even though we have been here for 2 years now. Haha! I guess I don't get out much any more.

We live in Lakenheath Village, and I run a playdate group on Yahoo!. It has been somewhat inactive recently (mostly due to the holidays, but since they are over now, we should be able to resume the normal weekly postings).
Anyway, I'd love to get together for a playdate if you are interested. We ususally go to the BHC or parks on base, when the weather permits. I have some friends in Ely so maybe we could even meet up with you out that way, if you're interested.
I am not sure how your schedule works, but we ususally get together to play in the mornings, around 10.
