Hi. I have had two daughters in the last 2 1/2 years and the first one was born at Womans Hospital. When I found out I was pregnant w/my 2nd daughter I was on a different insurance and had to change doctors and hospitals and I was soooo upset and resistant. My husband works for Christus so I had to deliver at a Christus facility to get the full benefit from the insurance so we choose St. Catherine. I had to pick my doctor from "the list" of network doctors too and was scared to death. I chose Dr. Tiffany Mullin and I LOVE her. And my experience at St. Catherine was all-around better than at Womans. I had always loved Womans - I was treated great, etc - nothing negative happened there. But at St. Catherine the pace is much slower, you get much more individual attention and support. The nurses were great at both hospitals, but I can't say anything at all negative about St. Catherine. One thing I do remember about Womans is there was always someone talking over the paging system and while I was in they tested the alarm in the middle of the night and scared the hell out of me. Anyway, I hope you find what you're looking for. I can't say enough about Dr. Mullin - she has been exceptional. So what started out as what I thought a negative thing actually was the best thing that could've happened. I would be happy to talk to you about it on the phone if you'd like. You can let me know and I'll give you my number. My professional email address is ____@____.com.
