Hello, I also live in Haverhill and my four year old son attends Moody preschool on Margin St in Haverhill. He started when he was three and my older daughter went there for two years also. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it. The teachers are amazing. There is an application process because so many people know how great the school is. It is located right along the river behind the Mercedes dealership on River Street. Their phone number is ###-###-####. You can call and get some info. Good luck!

Hi,

My daughter who is also three was enrolled at Noahs Ark right on Kenoza Ave in Haverhill. They were very nice, the class size was small too. Good Luck.

I suggest going to the National association for the education for young children website (NAEYC). www.naeyc.org NAEYC has very hight standards for childcare centers. So if a center is accredited by NAEYC it most likely is of high quality. On the website you will find childcare centers in your area and other useful information.

I highly recommend Little Sprouts. Their current facility in Haverhill is at Northern Essex Community College, but I also know they are building another facility to expand. Both of my kids went to LIttle Sprouts in Methuen right through Kindergarten and attended summer programs in Haverhill. It was nothing short of a wonderful experience for both kids and both of us as parents! Good Luck.

I loved the Family Cooperative Preschool in North Andover, if you can manage the time required, it is fabulous. My son is now in 2nd grade and has great memories of his preschool years.

Hi,
The best kept secret in Haverhill for preschools is Merrimack Child Care on Amesbury Line Road (the "little red school house" over in historic Rock's Village). IT IS AWESOME!!!!! They are the most caring individuals you'll ever meet - they get to know and love each child individually - caring for that child's whole needs - emotionally, physically, and intellectually. My kids have been going there for 6 years now. My oldest still goes after school, and she says it is the best school she's ever gone to. They have a charming facility, and the playground is awesome! Kids love it, and parents have peace of mind - what more could you ask for? Call them and get a free tour - the phone number is ###-###-####. You won't be sorry - THEY ARE THE BEST !!!!!! They are licensed in MA, and better yet - they are accredited by the NAEYC !!!

I would like to recommend the ECC at St. Joseph's School. My children all started there for preschool, and my oldest is going to graduate from the 8th grade at St. Joseph's this year. Their preschool teachers are all still there, and they loved them. They also met some of their best friends there. It is a very caring and nurturing environment for the children. The swings and slide are indoors, so they can be used in all weather, in addition to the outdoor play-yard for the nice weather. Contact St. Joseph School of All Saints Parish for more information.
