Hi Mommies! My mother-in-law is coming to town this week and she would like to take my daughter out for a "tea party". We are just looking for a nice place for the 3 of us to go. Maybe with big pretty hats to wear for fun??? Does a place like this even exsist?

The Inessa Stewart's Antique shoppe has a tea room at their Dallas location... It's super cute and they do a full tea service.

Also ALice's Tea room in downtown Mckinney has a less formal tea sevice, but is still great.

Have Fun

I took my 3 yr old to a Princess Tea Party at Into My Garden, Plano, Texas (www.intomygarden.com). She had a blast. The girls dressed up in princess attire & they got a princess wand, a glass slipper(plastic), and had flower sandwiches & lemonade tea. The adult food is great too. I recommend the sampler! The only issue is it is inside a gift shop with lots of kids toys. It is hard to get out without buying something! You need to make reservations. Have fun where ever you go.

The Dallas Arboretum (I don't think I'm spelling that correctly!) has a very nice tea time. I've been a couple of times and seen little girls there with their mommies for "tea time".

There is a very charming place in the historic area of downtown Plano called "Into My Garden Tea Room". They have exactly what you're looking for. I've been there several times with my mother & mother-in-law & friends & everyone always enjoys it. They have tea parties & big hats to wear. Their website is www.intomygarden.com. It's best to make a reservation, especially for a special occasion.

Chestnut tree on the denton square is great. You could also do the arboretum in dallas for a super fancy tea this fall.

How fun! I haven't been there for a tea party yet, but just off Main St in Grapevine is Let's Pretend Tea Parties. They do have great cupcakes and a nice boutique as well. LetsPretendTeaParties.com

I would recommend http://www.letspretendteaparties.com/ in Grapevine... It's on historic main street. It's about $9 pp. Pics on their website. While you're there, you might consider an outing... either visiting all of the shops along Main Street, or going to the local botanical gardens (photo ops) or strolling through the Gaylord Texan atrium (filled with shops, greenery, and photo ops).
