hi my daughter has this rash under her chin and neck i am wondering what it could be if anyone has any advice please let me know...i made her a dr app for tomorrow for that...thanks in advance
ok i took her to the dr today and dr said it was just irritation...and gave me some med to put on it...thanks for all the advice everyone
Heat rash sound like the most likely unless she has been rolling around in grass or if you have changed laudry soaps or softeners. it could be an allergy or something like that. Hydro cortizone cream should help relieve any itching if that is a problem. That is until you get her to the Dr.
have you changed anything in your house like soap or anything like that ?
What do you clean her face with? My son gets rashes from baby wipes.
She may have a food allergy. It could be from something she has been eating, some object around your home she has sucked on or maybe someone ate something she may be allergic to and kissed her. I have had food allergies all of my life and when I was a baby my grandmother would eat seafood and I'd get a rash when she would kiss me goodbye. As a child I was even allergic to certain preservatives in many foods. I either grew out of them or preservatives changed. Either way I'm out of that one, Thank God ! My daughter (7 months) began eating baby food and I noticed after giving her aa gerber turkey dinner last week her chin broke broke out in a red rash. It did go away after about three days. Anyway, Check food and skin allergies. With skin allergies something could simply brush against her skin and cause a rash. Growing up I'd always get nailed by the perfume women in department stores. They'd spray me and next thing I knew I'd have sinus problems, wattery eyes and a rash. Allergies can come in many forms and from many things.

more than likely it's where she is drooling down her chin and neck from teething and other than keeping it dry, there is not much you can do for it.
It is probably a teething rash. I have four boys and my youngest is fifteen months old. I also understand what it is like to have lost children also. I lost a set of twins at 28 weeks, it was a boy and a girl and they were stillborn. THis was back in 1998 and i still have not. forgotten them, I have also had two miscarriages since then. All I can tell you is you will never forget the child you lose, but it will get easier to handle and deal with in time. I also enjoy being at home that is why I was glad I found a cmpany that I could start a business with at home and still be there with my children. Has she been teething/drooling lately? My daughter gets a rash sometimes under her neck, on her chin and on her face sometimes ... but it's usually from the drooling from teething. I try to keep her face dried off as much as possible, wash it off frequently (even in between baths), and use Aveeno lotion on it. Hope that helps!
I could also be a heat rash. My son use to get them alot when he was younger. If she gets hot and sweats and rubs it causes it just put some Destin on it and it will go away in a day or two.
