I am still searching for an OB for my second pregnancy and heard about Tampa Bay Women's Care. Does anyone recommend this group? The doctors are Joseph J. Saavedra, Ira A. Riemer, Michele K. Amoroso, Adriana P. Suarez, and Tara L. Sosna. If you have been, is there usually a long wait before getting to see the doctor? I'm a little nervous about picking my doctor since my last exerience. Any help is appreciated!!! Thanks!

I actually go there, I see the nurse Practicioner & she's great, she has a baby that's about 6 months old, that's who they assigned me to, I only go there for paps, but I like them, My husband & I were trying to concieve & then he changed his mind & didn't want anymore, he said we wouldn't be able to do anything, we have 2 & 8 year old girls, but it might be too late, we'll see in a couple of weeks, if I happen to be pregnant, I'll let you know how I like them as an OB DR......I went to Loving Miracles for my 2 year old, but DR. Colorado doesn't practice anymore because of health issues, but he was great, he did a sonogram everytime I went in at no extra charge. I go to the Brandon office & see Dr. Smith (female), I'll let you know if I go for ob, the staff is very nice too.

Dr. Riemer delivered both of my boys, I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!! The office in brandon was never so busy that I waited for more than 20 minutes....and that was the longest I ever waited...and if I remember correctly that was a visit for the sono tech. All of the dr's in that group are great, I am an RN and work with them on a pretty regular basis-I think that they will be great for you

T.,

I went to the location in Brandon in 2003. I ended up there after my original OB/ GYN office could not squeeze me in when I was spotting in my 3rd month. I called around for a new doctor and i was seen with in the hour. Dr.Riemer was my primary doctor there however they make you see everyone just once, which was good because Dr. Saavedra actually delivered my son. I loved them. I always felt comfortable and relaxed knowing I was in good hands. I was put on bed rest in my 6th month so I saw them quite often. There were a couple of times that I had to wait, it was when one would have to leave to go deliver a baby. But overall they take you quickly.

Hope this helps!
J.

I'm not sure where you live, but they only deliver at St. Joes Womens in Tampa. If you live in Brandon, you will have to deliver in Tampa. They are a good group, with some of the doctors better than others. I think you would be satisfied with them.
