I joined the MOM's team not too long ago and it's great. You work from home as much or as little as you want. The business has been around for 22years and has been very successful every year. Last year, they made over $783 million. There are special perks for working with them, like discounts at Nike, Target, Circuit City and more. Anyway, it isn't a scam, and that's the best part. Contact me if you want more info. Just to let you know, some mom's do this as their full time job, others as part time, and some just to help them get out of debt, but you can make a lot of money.

You can get hired to work at home in a matter of days. The name of the company is Teletech. You go to Hirepoint.com and apply. Fill out the application for Texas customer service representative. The pay starts at $9.25 per hour for 30 hrs per wk. and you have other incentives that could mean that you could earn more. This is not a sales position. You will be working for a cable company helping with all their customer service issues. They do offer a 401K and a healthcare reimbursement package.

Once you are finished applying call the following person:

Annett Loveridge
____@____.com
____@____.com Talent Acquisition Specialist
Phone: ###-###-####
For additional information visit www.teletech.com and www.hirepoint.com

Also, you can go to workathomeagent.com and LiveOps.com Those are all work at home positions that you can make a few extra money while staying at home with your baby.

I'm a work at home mom of two children myself. There is a website that you can go to. A lot of it is for medical transcriptionists, but some of these places don't need experience. You can check it out to see if anything catches your eye. They are all mostly nationwide work-at-home companies. Everything has a description of the company, the job, the equipment and software needed, and of course the pay. Good luck!!

Hi C.,
I would like to give you my two websites to look at and decide what might help you in your situation. I have been searching for a while for a way to stay with my son (3 in May and my daughter will be born in July), I have found two wonderful businesses that you might be interested in. One is Gourmet Scented Candles that are veggie wax instead of parrifin, so this means cleaner for the enviroment. The other is helping people save money and make money everytime they turn on the lights. You mentioned not having transprotation, Ignite might be better for you. However please take a look and email any questions that you might have. I am here to help anyone that is in the need to better themselves and their families.

Hi C....looks like you have gotten a wonderful response! I quit my job in September due to a complicated pregnancy and knew that I needed to supplement our income somehow. I signed on with a wonderful Gourment Food company called Tastefully Simple. I did ALOT of research on bonuses, pay structures and requirements for different companies to find what worked well for me and what I was capable of. I've been a consultant for 2 other Direct Sales companies but this one has actually been profitable for me and easy enough to do while pregnant and now with a newborn. If you are interested you can go to my website www.tastefullysimple.com/web/batkinson and learn more about our wonderful company. I can also come to your home and do an in-home taste testing party for you and your friends so you can see what it is I do!
There are alot of great companies out there. Just make sure you do your research to find one that is a perfect fit for you! Good Luck!

Hey -

When I stayed at home with my daughter I sold stuff on Ebay to make extra money. If you're crafty you could make stuff to sell. I made boutique style hairbows and sold them. Also the boutique overalls sell really well on there. Or you can make pretty good money off of all your old stuff.

C.,
I applaud your desire to work from home so YOU can raise your son! I have an at-home business and it has changed our lives. My Pampered Chef business not only earns a monthly income, but we also get a fabulous trip each year (we area heading to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas next month!). It also gives me the professional satisfaction/outlet that I needed after leaving a full-time executive assistant position to stay home and raise children. (Talk about whiplash!)

I love that I help others do what I do...or simply make dinner time at home quicker and easier with our tools and recipes. But you know, if you aren't into Pampered Chef, you should look at other direct sales companies. The start up cost is low, training is a snap, the commission is good and the perks are the best. You earn money, products (so pick something you love), usually a trip is offered, but even more than that, you get the recognition and camaraderie of a group of friends and supportive team members.

There are lots of companies out there. If you love to cook, want to learn to cook or need new kitchen items, please let me know--I'd love to talk to you about what I do. If you love jewelry, there are a couple great companies that I can refer you to someone who does those. If you like educational/toy items, look at Discovery Toys. There are SO MANY out there, and since I am in direct sales, I know lots of others and successful reps I can refer you to. (You want to get in with a successful team...and not all of them are. Personal referals are always safest.)

No matter what you choose to do, you are looking in the right direction! You can make up lost income very easily by working from home...and the tax benefits are great! You don't have to "earn" the same amount that you did at a traditional job to have the same amount of available income to your family. Feel free to email me (____@____.com). I'll be glad to help you find something, don't feel that I will pressure you toward what I do. I believe in this occupation (direct sales) too much to be so narrow minded!

Hi C.
Where are you located? We are trying to find a stay at home mom in the Katy area who would consider watching our 9 month old son-we aren't in a position for me to stay at home yet, but the daycare scene isnt working. We couldn't pay much, about $800 a month (same as our rate at daycare). Not sure if this is anything you'd be interested in but I thought I'd throw it out there...Lots for us to consider before pulling him from "school" but we are just starting to throw this around. Let me know..Thanks!

When I decided to stop teaching and stay at home with my toddlers a few years back I took in 2 other toddlers. So I had four toddlers (two or my own and two others)and made enought money to not miss my teacher salary. I was already used to having 20 kindergarteners so four little ones wasn't that bad. Make sure that you are selective on the children you bring into your home. Make sure their parents have regular work hours. Don't get trapped into watching kids for parents who work late because then you won't have any alone time with your family. Good luck.

Hi C.! Glad to have you here at Mamasource. I saw your requet for information about working from home and just wanted to respond and say hi and get you some info about what I get to do from home.

I have been a stay at home mom since our second child was born (almost 4 years ago) and we were in the same boat as you and your husband. He is a police officer and works VERY hard with his normal job but then has extra jobs almost every night.

In March of 2005 he broke his leg and I had to find somethng to do from home so I could supplement his income. Well I found a company that I really believed in but after a year and a half, I had virtually made no money. Well, THANKFULLY (!!!) I found a team and company that I have been with for a short time but I have already been very successful and I am getting to work with other moms looking to either supplement their income (or ther husband if they are a SAHM) or be able to leave their current job to stay home with their kids.

I LOVE what I do from home and I would love to speak to YOU and get to know you a bit and help you learn about this team and company the same way I did so you can decide for yourself if this is a good place for you!

You can call me anytime at home ~ day or night! I can't wait to meet you!

Blessings,
M. L.

When you go to the website scroll down and click on Read Text Version. I think it is faster than listening to the video. Please email back and let me know what you think! www.mymagnoliamall.com

Hi C.,

I know you mentioned a job for at home but I would bartend friday nights when my husband was at home. It would not only help me stay sane because I needed adult conversation, but I would make $200 a night. If you are not able to do that you can call me at ###-###-####. I own an insurance agency and can always use some help. I know how it can be with little ones, and making ends meet. It can be tough! Good Luck!
