My women's group is hosting a ladies Tea. Each of the women in the group is hosting her own table. we will have christmas, halloween, a hawiian luau, a back to school etc. 12 tables of 8 in all. We would like to have a favor at each place setting that says something along the lines of thanks for attending and making this event so successful (it is a fundraiser for our local food pantry) there will be a little presentation, food, raffles, 50/50 etc. I was thinking something along the lines of a little bunch of tea bags tied together with ribbon and tag saying thanks for coming etc but i am just stumped with how to word it or if i should go with something else? anyone have any good ideas? please don't send me to etsy or pintrest I don't like either of those I get lost in the millions of ideas and can't decide anthing lol. thanks in advance for any ideas.

What can I do next?

I like your idea of the tea bags tied together with ribbon. Since the event will be attended by women, you can attach the famous quote by Eleanor Roosevelt:

"Women are like tea bags. We don't know our true strength until we are in hot water."

You could also buy chocolate molds and chocolate at a craft store and give each person a chocolate lollipop. They are simple to make and look very nice too.

Love the idea. I hope it raises a ton of money.

I once went to an event where the favors were indeed tea bags, but they were tucked into little felt teapots -- just find or draw a very simple outline template of a teapot shape, maybe 4 inches across, on colorful felt; cut two shapes out and use fabric glue or tacky craft glue to glue the edges and spout to each other but leave an opening in the "top" of the teapot big enough so you can slip in a few teabags. If you like, use fabric paint pens to decorate one side of the felt teapot with a simple flower design, or whatever you like, or the words "Thank you."

If that's too fussy, make a paper teapot with two sides instead and slip the bags into that. The felt looks really nice but if you don't want to spend that much, try nice, heavy craft paper. There are papers with "teatime" sorts of designs on them, too.

you could get some tea cups with saucers (they needn't be expensive) and put plant LIVE flowers or succulents in each one and tie a tag that says something to the extent of... thanks for helping to grow and nurture a better community...
gotta say, at the thrift shop they often have sets of tea cups and saucers.. we aren't talking mom's old china :) but plants can still look cute even in inexpensive containers... IF you had the time, but may be too close to call, you could also put small plants in old/vintage looking tea tins.... this looks great as well...
