**Need OB/GYN!! (Affiliated with Waukesha Memorial)

I am currently seeing an OB/GYN in West Allis because my cousin (a nurse) helped me pick a practice/hospital that I could trust....
We are hoping to have a second baby and I do not want to keep driving from Hartland to West Allis- it will be too much with all the appointments. That and if I did deliver it's too far from home.

Q:
Do you have a highly trusted- great OB/GYN in Waukesha County-(Hartland, Oco., Pew, Del, even brookfield)?? I want to deliver at Waukesha Memorial since it is a Level 111 NICU etc. but am not comfortable looking at a list and just picking a Dr....
I do not mind a male dr....
I'm just hoping to find someone great and closer to home... it was nice having an insider help me pick last time!!
Thanks for any tips!

What can I do next?

My son was delivered by Dr. Mary McComis with Medical Associates in Waukesh (right on the Waukesha/Pewaukee border really. She delivers at Waukesha Memorial and was WONDERFUL!. Very funny and sweet. She also made me feel very safe and relaxed for my planned c-section. I actually looked forward to going to my appointments to see her. The other doctors in the practice, that I met, were wonderful as well. Like a said, Medical Associates was where I went and they have a website where you can get locations, doctors and info. www.ma-hc.com

I would recommend Dr. Matthew Meyer at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He is an incredible physician, very compassionate and professional. Unfortunately, my husband and I had a very late loss in pregnancy and Dr. Meyer called us personally every week for several weeks after.
We went on to have another baby and Dr. Meyer delivered our son via c-section. Everything went smoothly and he continues to be easy to talk to about our future family planning.

Both of my kids were delivered by Dr. Roger Lalich at Women's Health Care which is at Waukesha Memorial Hospital professional building. They have several different locations, but this is where I went since I live close to the hospital. Being that this OBGYN clinic is at the hospital, they of course work very closely with the hospital and the residents and nurses there. I had very wonderful experiences with both deliveries and he is a fabulous doctor.

Hey J.,
I use Loree Mohering at Moreland OBGYN in Waukesha. She's young and wonderful. I would want to hang out with her and be her friend if she wasn't my doc. I've also had to see a few others in that practice and was always happy. Dr. Comisky is also fantastic.....both women.

Dr. Beth Angsten has offices in Delafield and Oconomowoc. She is only associated now with Oconomowoc Memorial, but she is fabulous and I would highly recommend her.

I am sure by now you have a trillion responses but here is another.

I like Christine Sponagle. She is located at Moreland Medical on the thrid floor at Moreland OB/GYN.

She is very nice. She was my dr. for both of my kids but did not deliver either. She works part of an office so she may not personally deliver you but the others are great. I have heard that Dr. Davis is rough at some checkups.

The office is easily accessible from I-94 or Hwy 18. The address is 1111 Delafield St Suite 311, Waukesha, WI 53188 and the number is ###-###-####.

I delivered at Waukesha for both of my kids and my son was in the NICU. It was a great hospital. Everyone knows their stuff there!

Good Luck finding one :)

I just saw that someone recommend dr. moehring from moreland obgyn, she is great, she is the one that delivered both of my kids.

I agree with Dr. Loree Moehring at Moreland OB. I have been going there for years and we had our first child last July and my husband and I both liked and trusted her!

I would recommend Steven Mccann at OB Gyn Affilates in Brookfield. I have been a patient for several years and he delivered my son 2.5 yrs ago.
I'm not sure of his hospital coverages but he is a wonderful doctor. D.

I used to see Mary McComis at Medican Associates in Waukesha. I really liked the Women's group furthur in I think on Watertown Rd off of Barker and Bluemound. It's been so long i can't remember the Dr. name but I believe the entire clinic is very good, as is Medical Associates.
Congratulations. Hopefully others will have suggestions closer to home.
