New to area need help finding a place to have son 9th b-day party.We cant have it at our new house we are not unpack yet.Looking in Northwest Austin,Cedar park,Learnder,or Georgetown area.Please help!
My vote is austin park and pizza. i have to admit it is a little groose not to clean but the kids love it.
also main event is fun! Volente beach is fun kind of pricy though.
Something we've done for my son's 8th and 9th party was the Brushy Creek Park. You can go to the Cedar Park city's website (http://www.cedarparktx.us/cp/default.aspx) and reserve the "party pavilion". There is a water park there to run around in and play. There is a sand volleyball court and also some playscapes for younger children right next to the pavilion to play at while the party is going on. And Papa John's Pizza (probably others too) will deliver pizza there as well if you don't want to cook out. Nice place to hang out and enjoy the day outdoors. I found some blow up swords at the dollar store for the kids to have sword fights in the water park. They had a blast.
Extreme Fun is a bouncy playnasium, located on Anderson Mill Road. I especially like that they have Sunday hours, so you can have a party on Sunday if that time is feasible too. (And they have good air-conditioning!)

Depending on the amount of money you have to spend and the time of year the party. There is a place called Austin Park & Pizza. It is like a Chuckie Cheeses for older kids. They have go-carts and video games. Some exterior and some interior stuff. Not terribly expensive, as long as you don't have 20 kids coming! There are also several waterparks. One in ROund Rock (can't remember the name), Volente park, and Veterans memorial park in Cedar Park. Volente is much pricier than the other two. There is also a huge park in Georgetown, can't remember the name. Lots of space to play, fly kites, picnic. Good luck!
Try Mel's in Georgetown. It's a new bowling alley and is super-fun. We went to a party there yesterday and all ages had a blast.

For my son's 11th bday party, we went to Blazer Tag. He and his friends said it was the best bday party ever. Pizza, cake, laser tag and arcade games were included with the price. Also, each child got a 32 oz cup full of part favors. The party coordinator handled all of the details...I did nothing but watch them have fun. I highly recommend Blazer tag ;)

Iknow that Austin Parks and Pizza is a great place for kiddos that age.They have go garts on a track were they can race one another(i think you have to be a certain height to be able to ride}, water type inflateables, golf batting cages and the best thing my 8 year old loves is the lazer tag.
Theres also The Main Event and Dave and Busters.Daves is mostly video games well, is all video games.
We live far south and don't have any places like this so we have to travel north to enjoy these type of activities.I hope these ideas are helpful.Good Luck.One more idea that i did for my son this last b-day was a party at home i know you can't have one at your house but possibly a simple traditional party at a park near by, w/easy fixings of hotdogs,burgers, and swimming.We had waterballons that added that extra kick to the party.Just fill them before time store them in an icechest.Boys love waterballons.Play games give out prizes.I bought gift certificates in the amount of $5.00 to give away as prize gifts for whomever won the game.(Baskin Robbins was a favorite)And give party bags away.Don't forget the pinata kids LOVE to hit those filled w/ goodies.All in ALL The party is cheaper and the kiddos will enjoy it more than a play place.The ertainment parks that i recommended above has all the kids scattered most of the time your there as for a party they interact w/one another the whole time.I think they'll have more special memories this way too.If you choose to go w/the party and need kids game ideas let me know.Take Care.

We just had my son's birthday party at Robin Bledsoe Park in Leander. If you haven't been there before: They have a covered pavillion with a bbq pit & a playground. There's also a water playscape that's free. Then there's a swimming pool that's $1.50. They charge $50 to reserve the pavillion then there's a $100 refundable deposit. Or you can take your chances & just go there without reserving it. We were going to reserve it but changed our mind. We set the party for 2 pm & no one was at the pavillion when we got there. I think everyone moves to the water area when it opens. My plan was to do the birthday stuff then move to the water playscape. But we moved to my house instead (that was the plan for after the party anyways) & got out the sprinkler I got my son.
Main Event right off 183. We just went to a party there and my younger oys had a blast. They actually had the party on a Sunday morning and there weren't a whole lot of other people there yet. We did bowling and games. But they have laser tag and a climbing wall as well. Good luck!!

There is a place in Round Rock called Ready Set Play. It's a inflatable jumping place and it's all ages. If you google it, you'll find it. My kids love it. They are 6 and 8.
Check out Main Event or Dave and Busters!! My 8 year old loves those places. Main Event has Bowling and Games. They also have food. Dave and Busters has all that but no bowling! The food is really good at Dave and Busters. Food terrible at Main Event.Bran
